I think the extra weight is for increasing the weight so that speaker can't move during music play

i have the same speaker the inside does not look similar to yours. Mine is made from china, does that somehow change the manufacturing process or is mine fake? Ps. the speaker woofer is the same with the originals i saw here on youtube
