i live in an area that observes Day Light Savings Time (Spring Time - forward one hour, Fall Time, change clock back one hour. In the mean time I am struggling since I had a power outage due to storm how to set up my gift which was set up originally by my daughter. Instructions with pictures only is not sufficient, I need English instructions on how the radio features works. Few reviews show the top of the clock to demonstrate which features they are pressing to set the clock for time, date, year, alarm. They focus more on the face of the clock and this is not helpful. @@osopolarmovies Unfortunately, Costco has them displayed in a bright area so the clock display becomes very bright, a bit deceptive. This is not the case in an area of a home where it would most likely be used? Are you aware of any android apps that would allow some customization of the display brightness? I now know why the price went from $99 to being on sale for $79 and then I received 2 price drop credits from Costco. I think the end price ended up being around $59, still pricey for a clock radio. Disappointed that this a JBL product with a major flaw.

@@davecantleberry4965 Totally agree with your statement. My set was a gift and was set up for me by my daughter. Had a power outage and I am struggling to figure out how the various features work. Picture displays without instructions in English is terrible. I am researching You Tube for a demonstration, but most will not show which buttons at top of radio they are pressing. It has a light sensor that controls the brightness. Not exactly the way we want it.

Wien connected the time is always correct. It works like an alarm clock with radio.

This radio has nothing to do with logic...

Depending on the model you can only change between English and German.

The lights cannot be adjusted by user. The digital front panel display has automatic light intensity adjustment, which follows the level of light in the room.
