Indeed, they are far superior to the Sony WH-1000-X3 for instance, even though those get better reviews everywhere, which I simply don't get as those are flimsy and creaky at best, with flubby bass. Only NC is better on the Sony's honestly. I recently picked up a 660 pair for 70€. Best money I ever spend.

Which one should I considered... JBL Tune 660nc or JBL Tune 760nc?? Please suggest me the best for overall performance...

They're quite similar. Tune has a better mic if you want to use it, 660nc has better build quality but a very tight headband fit. Sound signature is similar, the 660 has slightly superior SQ.@@albundy7493

What other model would be better?

Last time I went to best buy the kid showed me one pair of head phones(Sony something) and said these are good... and that was it. No explanation no comparisons nothing. I asked questions and he couldn't answer so I left and have been researching for myself. Everytime I've been to best buy the sales people are not great. It's usually younger ones who either are not trained, or just maybe don't get paid enough.

I have that model in white & they are surprisingly good, considering that they are the spec and price-wise the runt of the two with bass, you can hear, separated instruments you can discern as well; indeed, it was those properties that encouraged me to hang on to them when I had problems getting my Samsung Q60A to pair with the 760 for during the first month I had them with critical reviews citing both JBL and Samsung for lack of a technology known as Low Level which initiates lip sync delay rendering the headphones incompatible with the TV finally after a half-hour diagnostic seminar with a headphone honcho step by step, cured the disorder by making me excise the faux LG speaker from the TV Bluetooth speaker list then restart it 15 minutes later inputting my 760s in the BT speaker list which it promptly recognized! I had no choice because my TV purged the headphone jack that made my JBL E35 obsolete. I used the E35 in the 2013 Insignia panel, expeditiously blacked out. Still, no biggie because these Tune760NC cans sound like my Experience Peak earbuds without their diva-like issues of only lasting 4 hours while still having 20 hrs in its charging case. On the 760NC, you can receive and chat with other callers in your contact list, which I hope to master eventually. So far, the only thing the noise canceling feature seems to do is lower the TV volume threshold value from 95 down to 50 but don't let that deter you from docking these cans because its usefulness might still behoove you, yet much like I serendipitously could still find another more critical use for it in the scheme of things! I hope my opinion calms whatever lingering doubt about these headphones.

I wasn't that lucky; however, paying $80@ on Amazon U.S. for a model that initially sold for $200 isn't shabby either!

For what it's worth... I got the Tours and set the app equalizer up on all frequencies My android audio also has adapt sound, which I put on 60+ yrs, which sets the low mid high on more penetrating sound. This all makes them pretty loud when you want feel it more. I bought them on sale too thinking I'd just return if not happy, but of course as you know the quality is great, so I kept them. The discount was something I couldn't pass up.

Yeah she's had already going on 5 months so a little late. I would still recommend.

I have the skullcandy crusher ( wired and wireless ) and have tested the Tune 760 NC. In my opinion, skullcandy crusher sounds better and has a more immersive experience. Build quality of the crusher ain't great as the hinges are a weak point. First pair lasted a few years and wireless pair lasted about 2 years before both hinges gave in. Crusher has a tight clamp compared to the jbl though, so ear fatigue sets in quicker with the crusher as well as the heat. Overall I would still choose the crusher over the Jbl.

That's typical of headphones when you use them wired

at home i use my nice open backs. They at least for me would make em my daily driver

The difference generally is that the Lives have a higher quality sound than the Tunes although do not mistaken that to mean that the Tunes are trash because they are not. Typically Tunes give a bass boosted sound and in my experience are very exciting to listen to. The Lives are more natural and balanced sounding with higher quality bass and they have eq settings from the JBL app to adjust the sound. Two key marketing phrases to look out for is JBL Pure Bass sound which is what the Tunes have and JBL Signature sound which is what the Lives have. There's also a JBL Pro sound that their Club and Tour series of buds and phones have which are even higher quality but cost more than these.
