Depends on how you look at it i suppose. I dont actually know if the speakers are independent from each other.

Mono, you need to pair two of them to use as stereo.

Yeah normally one speaker is mono but if you put it sideways for example it can be stereo it has more speakers inside the casing than just one.

@@RebelDrifter Not really bought mine for 5500 DKK on sale. I eventually bought a pair of two speakers. It is about 500$ pr. speaker, so a little over 1000$ for two :) Based on the monthly income of around 30.000 - 35.000 DKK - I wouldnt say it is that expensive. Not compared to the quality, clearness and loudness.
