Salut.

NO. The 710 is the best price/value party speaker but the Ultimate is the BEST in the World but it is very expensive! Cheers

The 710 weighs almost 20 lbs more than the Panasonic also so the construction of it is a much more solid cabinet and better drivers. I usually listen to both of my 710s in stereo at max volume between 50 and 60% the best quality and still maintain bass I have found is at 60% (depending on what type of music you listen to sound will vary) and it really has a nice bite and maintains base very well even at 75% I think it reaches its maximum volume with quality bass around that point and once u go louder bass starts to taper off .I never push it to 100% even though I have listen to it here and there at that volume for maybe 15 to 20 seconds it’s just very loud especially through two 710’s and you definitely lose some sound quality because the bass is designed not to go up anymore once you reach past about 70% or so so it can maintain sound quality and not get distorted but you don’t really need to go that loud with 2 of them in a house lol especially with using both of my speakers at 75% is plenty of loud but usually I have to cut it back to around 35 to 40% at night time due to the neighbors and maybe around 30 percent late at night. However bass boosted music really kicks even as low as 25 or 30% and at 50% or so it’s very loud and will shake the floor with bass boosted music.

Hello bro, can you give me some advice? I'm stuck between PB 710 and PB ultimate. At 100% volume, the sound and bass should be of better quality. I don't want the bass to be cloudy. I listened to PB 710. At 100% volume, deep bass is lost. But I have to admit, Bass is great at 50, 60 or 70% volume level. I will use it both at home and outside. Which one would you recommend?

@@shamokerimov1722 Yes you are going to lose bass with most of the speakers once you go above a certain percent. With the ultimate I think you can go a little higher before you lose the bass ,But any of the speakers the way JBL has it in the software or firmware update it’s kind of like built-in protection if you crank it up to 100% you are going to lose some bass and JBL does that so they can still maintain the integrity and it not get distorted but even though you can crank the speakers up to 100% in my opinion I do not recommend the maximum I would push anything is probably about 75 to 80% if you want them to last . I would say the maximum bass I hit is about 70 to 75% once I go higher than that I would say around 80+ percent is still pretty good but at that point I can tell the bass has dropped off. Note: Having the EQ with the 710 is definitely a must because without that EQ it sounds kind of flat with a lot of mid range so I always keep the mid range in the middle I never boost it to the top because I just don’t like the way it sounds I will boost the base almost to the top or to the top depending on what I’m listening to and a half end on a QR always have it maxed out and that combined with bass boost one with newer material or I will use bass boost 2 if I’m listening to older rock ‘n’ roll stuff like deep purple or Van Halen because a lot of the stuff recorded but then did not have a lot of low end that it seems like bass boost one don’t seem to pick up that well so in them instances bass boost 2 gives you a louder punch to the base ,but once you go too high on volume ,the speakers are designed especially with the last update to help protect them and not to distort , so that’s one of the reasons you lose the base once you get past a certain volume. If money was not the option I think the ultimate is the best. However I bought one of the 710s and I thought it sounded good but something seem to be missing so the next day I went back and bought another one and having two speakers in TWS made a world of difference and I’ve heard the ultimate and yes it sounds better than the 710 however a pair of 710s especially when you have them in the room placed 10 to 12 feet apart in stereo mode to me sounds better than a single ultimate . Obviously an ultimate having two of them would be great but two of them is almost $3700 after tax where they are listed at $1700 apiece and even the ultimate being on sale at $1300 each after tax you were still looking at around $2900. Right now I am finding the partybox 710s here in Georgia at Brandsmart for $689 . I bought both of my 710’s , after tax I spent $1490. When I compare the price of the ultimate I think I came out on a better end but when you have two speakers and you have them both cranked up to 60% it’s pretty loud with still excellent base and excellent quality. I can go 75% with like metal or heavy rock and it sounds good but as I mentioned in my statement above if I’m playing any bass boosted stuff I really don’t like to push them that hard because even at 40 or 50% there is more bass there and enough to rattle my windows than if I’m listening to metal at 75%. so yes to ultimates would be awesome if you have the money but just keep in mind they do not have a TWS button in the back , so to pair them up in stereo (if you buy two of them) you have to have Wi-Fi which most people do and also the best thing about the party box ultimate is you can download music streaming Wi-Fi which supposedly has better quality than Bluetooth I have not heard it myself but I’ve heard people talk about it so if you have a pair of the ultimates you can stream music through Wi-Fi , but with all the other party boxes you cannot but in my opinion having two of the 710’s for my place is plenty of volume most and of the time I listen to it between 45 and around 55% I would say both of the speakers once they hit 60% is really where you start getting a good punch and very loud and you still keep all of the bass. Some Your old school stereos if you turn them up loud the bass don’t usually cut out but they get very distorted and you can blow the speaker which happened to one of mine long time ago lol. That’s why I got the party box 710 instead of the 310 I had 310s for about two days and to me they just were not loud enough nor did they have enough bass and a party box 310 at 75 or 80% is only equal to a 710 cranked up at about 50% and the 710 had a higher highs and a lower deeper bass. In my opinion the threetowns are definitely overrated for their price . in my opinion the party but 710 is the best speaker for the money it gives you the most bang for your buck it’s not quite as loud as the party box Ultimate but it actually punches in at a decimal higher than the party box 1000 but it does not have quite the same base as the 1000 or the ultimate but as I stated above at that price you can afford two of them and I can tell you without a doubt having to710s sound better than any single speaker when it comes to the 1000 or the ultimate. So you have to make a decision on how much money you wish to spend. Btw , I have cranked the party box 1000 and the ultimate up to 100 in the store lol and even the party box ultimate loses some bass when you get probably around 90% and the quality of the bass in the 710 might not be quite as much base as the 1000 but I think it’s a better bass , not at 100% but at normal listening volume as you stated between 50 to 70%. Almost every speaker I have heard if you crank it to 100% you will lose quality regardless of how they advertise it. Good luck 👍

@@honeybadger713 Dude, thank you for all the information. As you said above, there is wifi in PB Ultimate, now I am wondering how the sound and bass can be heard in wifi midun. If I buy a PB Ultimate, can you tell me how to adjust the wifi sound quality? I would be glad if you could help me in this matter and lastly, greetings from Azerbaijan, friend.

@@honeybadger713 Some guys keep saying x2 pb 710, I wonder what will the guys who bought x2 pb 710 think when a new update comes to pb ultimate in a few months and the bass is stronger and the sound is better, because pb 710 has terrible sound and bass when it first went on sale. It was made better with a new update and considering that PB Ultimate is 1100W, I think this will be more effective in PB Ultimate.
