Honestly I was convinced Samsung was going to make something like this when the first Galaxy buds came out with the built in heart rate monitor and memory. I hoped the second gen would come out with a small screen... Now I'm hoping they make a Huawei style watch buds combo.

Been using these for about 2 weeks now. They are awesome! I use the case to change settings when having the buds connected to my nintendo switch, and at work where i cant use my phone to often. When it comes to volume they are loud, but not the loudest i have used. The loudest buss out there are Sound by Swedens Supra Nero TX Pro. No kidding that i could only use them at minimim vokume and would STILL have problem hearing people talkt to me because of the high volume even in hear thru mode 😂 if you want them loud thats the buds for you (bonus they are ridiculous small). Right now i switch between my JBLs and my Bose QC 2 (would use the Nura Tru pros too but my husband decided those belongs to him now 😅 )

JBL has started something that would turn into a great trend here with the touch screen display on the case. If Sony or Apple did the same, we could see others follow through as well.

Floss, with the case update, you can put a personal pic wallpaper and also get rid of the unlock arrows. Put a picture of White Shoes on there!

If they added an SD card slot, it would be mp3 as well.

These now show what song is playing on the case screen. Also each time the next song in your playlist starts, the case screen turns on for a few seconds showing you the name of the song without you having to pick up the case or touch it at all. EDIT: Oh, they also show things on the screen such as when a new email is received in your inbox. Make sure you update your case firmware/software. These screen messages can be turned off in the JBL Headphone app.

Well seeing as you still need your phone to make the case fully functional, it's just something else for you to play with, then drop, then break. If you do drop the case and the screen ceases to function, would it still work to charge the earbuds? That is the most important thing.

Great review. How did you find the bluetooth range on these? I find the bluetooth range isn't as good as my other true wireless earbuds (APP2, Club Pro+, CX Plus etc.), but I love the sound so much.

It looks pretty cool but tbh; I actually never take out the case unless I need to put the buds away. Maybe worth changing the initial approach and utilize this dopeness.

I just received my Jbl tour pro 2 and I must say they are impressive to say the least and the sound is balanced in my opinion. The soundcore liberty pro 3 has better bass but that’s it. Update! I absolutely LOVE THESE EARPHONES! The more I listen to these earphones, the more I love them!

I had the original JBL tour pro earbuds and I can attest that they are super loud. Probably the loudest earbuds I've ever used and I have used at least 50 earbuds. I will probably buy these just because I want that JBL loud sound again. They may replace my sennheisers.

They could take this to the next level... Add a speaker and mic to it and allow it to play music or talk on the phone for the times that you're phone is charging somewhere else and you don't want buds in your ear.

I just bought mine.. I'm in love with it. I stopped using my Galaxy buds pro immediately. There's a software update also and you can see the name of the song you're playing when you skip

This is like an iPod which I love. Imagine being able to download songs onto this and then leave ur phone away somewhere but this device can basically call text and do other things for u. Man

I think it's a great idea, and I applaud JBL's ingenuity with the case. But it would be a better idea if smart watches weren't everywhere. There's very little that the case can do that a smart watch can't do and do better

Yo floss, what’s the best air buds for talking and with good noise cancellation? I use a an IPhone 14 Pro Max.

Hmmm sounds like a niche feature for the case, most people use their phone app or the touch haptic controls on the earbuds themselves to control the ear buds. I'm not sold on this.

Apple's gonna serve up an Airpod iScreen Pro Max S XXX and say it was all their idea.

I'm new ish to earbuds. My past two pairs were JBL LIVE 300TWS, and they both died within a year. I'm thinking of getting these when they release. Would you say these are worth the 250, and do you think they'll last more than a year?

Can i use any buds to start on listening? I mean I don’t have to always use the right side? Or either of them I can use it? Cause some buds you can only use it th right buds if Im going to use only one side and when the battery is low I cant use the left side alone. Its either right side or both use them….

Love dvd cat bro! They're so calming. We have 5. Had I think 7-8 last year. Earbud wise, I go with Bose but I really like these. Just a little too pricey for me.
