We had a lot of problems with a JCB 414 loading shovel in the past. Leaking torque converter, broken flex plate and internal wear in the transmission spool valves behind those solenoids. We cleaned and honed the bores of the solenoid block and it got the machine running for the rest of the summer but in the end it needed a new block which cured it. Doesn’t seem to be your issue in this case but it might be useful information for the future.

I'm having a problem with my 535-67, this afternoon it stopped going forward. Not one of the powershifts worked. When i put it in neutral and hit the gas the machine went backwards, not at full power but slowly. After driving backwards in fourth gear for a few minutes the problem seemed solved but after a few minutes it was back again. Do you have got any idea where i'm supposed to look tot solve the problem?

Ah no sorry that has me stumped . I’d start with checking all the relays are fully plugged in and not loose. And check the plugs on the solids for melted wires or any damage . After that I’m out of ideas

Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I have a similar issue. No forward gears on a 527-67. Be similar to your 535-67 I presume @marc

where where your burnt wires located ? my solenoids all test ok suttel works fine and wides don't seam damaged anywhere.

I ended up checking the wiring harness that the solenoids connect to . There is a main big plug and you can then test each group of wires 12 wires for the 6 solenoids . I think there is the handbrake or 4x4 in there too on some models . I then checked the 4 or 6 relays bottom corner of the relay block just check they all click. And you can swap them around to test I ended up using a speed meter on my phone and worked out 3rd and 4th gear at the dawn so I figured out which wire was melted and just bypassed it to an external relay . I will make a video on it for sure

Iv traced all the wiring back to the relays all test ok , Iv now swapped the 2 bottom right relays around and Iv not got x4 forward gears correctly but no reverse gears now I’m going to replace the relays as it would seam one or 2 are bad

I have no 3rd or 4th going forward what do you think? I’m going to ohm the solenoids Monday

@@stevenharpervw is the one in cork in watergrasshill? Europrojekt is on in killbeggan. Maybe old school new school in July in st mels college and db on the quay in Wexford in June. It’s a pity ostküste luft isn’t on and terenure

@@Roadworks_ire aw no. I always went to that show in avoca and terenure is Massive, limerick is a no go also . Come to the kilkenny show mix of all vintage cars but I’m trying to get a big Vw presence there

Halo .. I have a problem with the transmission, sometimes I lose the (second and fourth) to the forward and sometimes it does not move forward only backward, normal without a problem what do you think about this ! help me please..

I’ve a new video on the Jcb coming out. Make sure to subscribe. Sounds like the solenoids on top of the cheese valves . Either loose wire or solenoid needs to be replaced ( top at the very back ) OR Any of the Replays under the fuse box

@@davidjohnston961 two melted wires, 10c to replace the wires, 15 years of experience and a day spent going through all the yellow wiring to discover which wires were damaged. Best advice I can give you is - there are 6 solenoids on the jcb loadall that control the gears. The 2 closest to the back of the machine . (One on top one in the bottom) Swap them around your gears will now be backwards forward 1st gear will be number 2 on the shuttle and 2nd gear will be number 1 on the shuttle . 3=4 and 4=3 But this is a good way to test if the solenoids are working or not. Obviously switch them back after you test drive the machine

In the middle of the loadall there is a 3 chest valves each with 2 solenoids controlling them ( so 6 in total ) maybe to have one of them burnt out ? Which of your gears are not working

@@maamalinda3267 no sadly not and it’s very difficult to get one. Which bit of the diagram do you need , you can Google search for jcb 532 wiring diagram solenoid pack - that might help you

Shuttle or solenoids. First check fuses I think the shuttle fuse is the middle row of fuses and is half way down
