Its wonderful that they learned the moves....its just- It needs emotion. It lacks the passion

it's clear there wasnt much passion and practice into the dance. it feels like the team was forced to perform. theres not sharpness or any dynamic to the movements. i cant see the movements when theyre so shallow. and if people claim "theyre trying their best" (in the past ive been butchered for giving any criticism), theyre doing a 'performance'. if you choose to perform on a stage (any stage at all), you should perform well. dancers polish a dance as best as they could before presenting a show. i understanding learning a choreography is difficult and i have to give props for that alone since the original choreo is long and complex. if the team can learn the choreo, i believe they certainly have the skills to polish it and give a great performance on stage
