This is easily top 5 rap songs of all time man I don’t know how anyone can debate this. Everything from the simple interesting story, how every line contributes and furthers the story and stays on topic, funny lines and the amazing twist at the end that loops right back to the catchy hook. There might be other songs that are more lyrically complex but that doesn’t always mean better. This is literally a perfect song.

I have to give it up to J.Cole, this video is one of the best rap music videos of this decade. No over sexualized images, no flashy cars, no gimicky bullshit, just strait metaphor and music. No other rapper is doing shit like this. This is what makes a rapper stand out from the crowd. This is what transitions a rapper from being a popstar to being a symbol synonymous with the words hip hop.
