two dials at hydraulic control are on left it's a height limiter and right is rate of drop speed,example if having a heavy plow it prevents damage if speed of drop is lowered. draft control is behind on its own,can be tricky,make sure it's always off,if not you'll have no position.

Hi there! I got to the point where you talk about it being a 24 gear box, what is was it’s top speed on the road?
@Theblindfarmer3 жыл бұрын
With 18.4-38 it would do 31 mph on flat ground

Hello Smalltown, I enjoyed the video. My Dad just bought a 6410 and I had "NO" clue about any of the controls or buttons. I wish you would show me how to start and move forward in gear 2 range C and whether or not I have to use the power reverser to do so. Thank you.

+Gaylon E. Freeman would you like for me to do a how to or somthing?
@gaylone.freeman11406 жыл бұрын
Hello Smalltown, Sir thanks for your reply. Not so much a video - it might would be easier than trying to type the information. I do not know how to get the tractor to go forward or in reverse without using the "left hand" reverser. I use a Kubota M9000 and my "shuttle must be in the forward position to move forward but I do not have to hold it in my hand like I do my Dad's tractor.
@Theblindfarmer6 жыл бұрын
+Gaylon E. Freeman I’m not sure I understand completely with holding the shuttle shift in your hand but for the tractor to move the left hand shuttle aka left hand reverser has to be in forward or reverse position to move
@gaylone.freeman11406 жыл бұрын
That is exactly what I'm saying the tractor WILL NOT go forward or reverse to drive Normally unless I am holding or pushing on it with my hand while trying to drive - in other words is something broken or am I just not doing it right?
@Theblindfarmer6 жыл бұрын
+Gaylon E. Freeman on the left hand reversed you have to lift up and push it forward or back to move the tractor it should click when pushed it either way

I wish my 6400 had a loader, I might be looking for one so I dont have to keep the loader on my 4020!

larsonvalleyfarm the 20s wasn't equipped with the heaviest front axel
@larsonvalleyfarm7 жыл бұрын
Smalltown Farmer88 exactly, and it needs every joint replaced! so, it would be nice to leave the loader off after rebuilding the front end! but it's a good old tractor!

larsonvalleyfarm is like to have a 4020 just because lol but my 2020 is small but handy as heck for moving stuff around or tight quarters

@@Theblindfarmer That makes since why my friend's dad's tractor has no loader. They just use their backhoe, but he tells me he wants to trade that 6410 in for a bigger tractor with a loader. My dad used to have a 6400 with a loader and it was real good at moving stuff around. We had the regular bucket and the forks were in the shape of a triangle, which made it easier to grab hay bales.

I really like my 6410 it’s a great tractor for almost anything and everything but around here you need a small tractor due to barns built way back when where made for small tractors my 6410 will not fit in any barn around here
