Watched this clip before. Still blows me away. JD gave me and my son his 60 LP to check out at his gig in NY. Awesome human and amazing talent.

Wow! I saw JD at Roberts Western Wear with Don Kelly while in Nashville for work in 2013 or so. Seemed so effortless back then. I didn't know this story. Wow!

slowing this down (did you know you can do that right in Settings on KZfaq) will expose some great nuance to his picking when he starts playing. love how he is using muted notes to keep the rhythm strong.
