Great band 👌 amazing drummer, bassist and JD is constantly evolving his slide playing is out of this world, just everything !Funk,R&B,Americana, western swing type stuff he does it all with his own feel but also is very authentic and true to these styles !!you don't see many players with this level of growth and expansion!unbelievable commitment 👏

Hey, JD - it's me, the nerd with the videocam who used to arrive 4 hours early for the table nearest the stage every time you played The Pines on the north edge of Prescott, AZ, remember? Those shows meant a lot to me, as I was going through some damned tough times back then. That was a nice place though, and everyone treated me well. I was outta tape when you covered 'Hurt' to my continuing sorrow. It was worthy of Johnny Cash, and I always considered you at least damn near equal to SRV, which I've never said about anyone else. Wish I could see you play in person again, but Nashville's too far to walk for a 78-yr-old! :) I'll never fall out of love with the blues though. If God ever said I could only have one kind of music, it would be no contest.
