The author plans to write another sequel. That means this story is much bigger than we thought. Though that is not for sure if the sequel will ever be finalised. And there will be a regret as hitogami said.

There is also a prequel for the world and lore of Mushoku tensei called, an old dragon's tale. Not going into spoilers but it also describes why dwarves,elves,demons etc. are in one world. ❤

Interestingly, if you look back to before Rudeus came to the magic academy, he was thinking of looking for his mother back then. But man-god told him he shouldn't do that because Rudeus would regret that action and instead he should go to the academy. If he went to the academy, then his "problem" would be solved. So even back then, man-god didn't want Rudeus to go wherever his mother is located. Cliff made a magical chasity belt for Elinalise to wear.... 🤣🤣🤣 Instead of sex, think in terms of vampires and their need for blood. Why do vampires need blood? What could be done to reduce that need? This is to help Elinalise control her need to have relations to stay alive.

It's really simple, Man God is Rudeus x Sylphie shipper so he made sure Rudy part ways with Eris and go to meet Sylphie in the University. He knows Rudy won't cheat on Sylphie for the beast girls so he's just simply asking if Rudy is a dog person or a cat person, nothing complicated.
