@@TheeBigSP I disagree. It *ended up* like that for most, but Robin and Brook disprove that, their destinations were clearly not intended to train them. Kuma's technique sending people places without his direct control doesn't really make much sense, he's the one that swings his arm and makes them bounce in a certain direction in the first place.

@mantrast6583 out of respect for spoilers, I won't say anything narritive related, but it gets explained. The power is to make intangible things real. Ex: taking the pain out of someone & making it tangible. He doesn't need to know where a place is or to have been there. It just needs to be where a person wants to go (or where they need to be to get what they want). During Thriller Bark that is why he asked Perona where she wanted to go on vacation before sending her there.

@@TheeBigSP Why just make shit up? Nowhere in the manga or in an SBS by Oda is it stated that his power sends them where they "Desire" to go. He was friends with Luffy father and a warlord with special privledges. He obviously knew their backrounds and skill sets and sent them to appropriate places. Kuma was the man, intelligent and strong and massively loyal.

This is one of Oda's low points in how he portrayed drag and trans people unfortunately. I'm really glad he got better as the story went on and we have amazing trans representation later, but seeing people react to this island is always bracing for potential harmful impact. Thank you both for not perpetuating negativity in your reaction, it was much appreciated.
