Usually I do DIY Jewelry Tutorials but with this video I wanted you to come along with me as I try out a new technique using NAIL FOIL to make beautiful UV resin jewelry. Let me know if I nailed it or failed it!

You are adorable!! I love that you show your “bloopers”, the human side of crafting. I definitely have a “blooper box”. Lol. When my ideas wake me up in the middle of the night and I have to jot them down in order to fall back to sleep, I can hardly wait until the morning so I can try them. Sometimes, they don’t turn out the way I thought or hoped they would, thus creating the “Blooper Box”.

Girl, you FaNailed, that's what I call and win after a fail. Thanks for the prayer at the end, Believe me I am the woman in the waves, only they won't stop. I explain as if I feel like I'm standing on top of a mountain, literally screaming for anyone to help me, yet everyone is just walking right by, like I don't exist at all. Even "loved ones". Thank you for the prayers! Love how you do your videos. I recently got into experimenting with UV resin I wasn't sure how to use the foil either which is how I found your video last night I tried to put a dark layer and then put some see-through holographic foil on that top layer and then put another layer of resin on top of that. I completely messed up cuz I forgot to cure the bottom layer before adding but I'm going to try again tonight and see how adding the foil actually inside the resin works! I'll try to attach a pic of how it turns out! Thank you for your video now I know how to do it the correct way though.lol

It looks like in the end, you mailed it! Now, it'll be just perfecting your technique! In taking us on this journey with you, I learned to use the color side 'up' when using nail foils on resin, so thank you for that, and now I want to order some nail foils, but they're cheaper on ebay! This is a great idea, but just a quick FYI: you are not 'drying' the UV resin, you are 'curing' it. I know it's semantics, but some people get confused when the resin is sticky and think it just needs to sit longer to 'dry' when they actually have not fully 'cured' the resin.

It is so funny the moment I said dry in this video I had this impression that someone would say something. Its true it is called cured. But I forget to call it that on the videos. I bought the foils after you did this video and have still been too chicken to try it. How long ago was that? 🤦🏻‍♀️ over a month ago I know…maybe two. Gotta do it. If you can put a video out that shows “fails” for others to witness, I should be able to handle it when no one is watching right?! You are so authentic and such a bright light for all.

Cool video! I just started making resin stuff as a hobby, but I wasted lots resin just to make things right 😅, but I made many mistakes so the final products are not good, how can I reuse those resin products or just need to threw them away? For example I made round resin earrings, but they are not even or deformed, how can I reuse them?

I usually put my tools under the uv light and it cures/dries them. The uv resin on the tip of my tool I take pliers and gentle get it off after it has been cured.

Use nail foil adhesive instead of resin to add your foil. It works so much better! Or, you can use gilding adhesive. You brush them on your first layer of cured UV resin. Add your foil. With the nail foil adhesive, you'll cure it again. With the gilding adhesive; let it dry. Then dome or top coat.

Just crumple tin foil after adding alcohol inks. Works great and much cheaper
