Well, according to wikipedia it is still called R35 and the chassis code is DBA-R35 except they only omit the Skyline name from GT-R.

I love how cars reflect the roads of the country they came from!!! JDM are small, lightweight, and focused on control! *In contrast, American cars are made for huge open American roads and are large, heavy, and focused on speed*

yea those 350z are nice cheap drift machines in the USA. They hold up nicely, parts are strong and plenty of aftermarket support.

ERICK4431 you gotta realize it’s hard to find anyone who even works on rotary engines any more. it sucks Because I wanted to invest in one but ended up with a evo instead

Yeah it may get a little hard probably even having to go a couple states over to have a nice shop to rebuilt your engine but it's not impossible! Hell I would even be willing to learn how to work on it myself 💪👊

The CHASSIS CODE is still R35 but its distinguished from the early model CBA-R35 and the DBA-R35. the skyline name goes to the V35,36,37 chassis started in 2003 also that white Fairlady Nismo is a 2015 model

I thought the safety inspections were so strictthat most cars over 4 years old were scrapped....?? If true how are these cars available? Serious question....thanks in advance.

The safety inspections here in Japan are simply expensive. You can save money by doing it yourself, but they get more expensive as the motor size increases. There is a huge... HUGE market for used cars here, and they are all in incredible shape.
