Might be a little late but the chassis plate says rb25 because autech got chassis like that from nissan and they didnt bother to change them/make new ones. I ran into this while registering my 260rs. As far as i know all of the autech got rb25 written there.

Have been trying to find a quality dealer to source a 260, do you have any suggestions as to who you used?

@@MegaCravings I found mine in Belgium some jdm entusiast Guys had it already imported. I am from germany so i had more or less just to drive it home and register. As for where to find one i suggest you check your countrys Forums/marketplaces or get an respectable importer to look for one at auctions. I dont know of any shortcuts.

I think that will sell quite quickly because they are becoming rarer especially with r34 front end good luck !!

Yes in my country who got one is the rare person in the world..this car is most available JDM car in my country...Quite quickly sold if the owner want to sell it..only got 2 Nissan Stagea in Malaysia already convert R34

There is no V8 version, I know that V8 swaps have been done but they never came from the factory

In my country in Malaysia got one original Nissan Stagea V8 JDM..not convert R34..all standart item

@@ericsson_motorsports i dont have a link..but i have the picture of the car the owner want sell just now..all original..no modified..no convert R34..only just add intercooler & change air filter..the model is Nissan Stegea NM35..not the Nissan Stegea 260RS model..Same can convert R34 & R35 too..only new model than Nissan Stegea 260RS..this is the facebook link m.facebook.com/groups/2162557507290284/permalink/2791829987696363/

@@ericsson_motorsports you can see the engine cover have Nissan Logo & V8 logo..in my country car enthusiast dont like to convert to V8 because for the road tax is so expensive tax..also for the gas is to much too..we here more like with turbo,vtec, & supercharge only..unless if the car is original V8 engine like BMW M4 or BMW M3 or Mustang
