That is right. The mother should give her daughters credit for their accomplishments. At least they are not unwed mothers who have children by chance with no fathers in the household.

Definitely relatable. I remember when I was in high school, my older sister expects me to be the same trying to out do her and do better than her. Which is a bit nuts considering she already finished grad school in Columbia with multiple internships and a full time job, which is like how am I supposed to compete with that?? As of right now I am able to be successful, working on my first internship right now and looking for full time job after I graduate from undergrad.

My half sister does the same......but she always fails. Just because she's my half sister she believes I don't love her.....but I do and she always try to out do me in everything just so she can get better than me. So I just started to help her so she can feel better about herself 💞💞💞💞💞

"Dont listen to her" Its not that easy. whenever she gets on the call with her sister-in-law and her brothe, she asks them their kids' grades and when they get bad grades, she tells them that the exams must have been difficult and the goes on to talk about how I got "only" 78/80 in a "supereasy exam". I love her as a critic. I hate her as a mother, "someone who should be giving hope and help you achieve your dreams" No need to spare the time in replying to this like: "stfu you whiner, ungrateful bitch, what kind of demon of a son doesnt love his mother" I thought love was mutual

My sister and I never had this issue. We did fight, but not because we envied each other's lives. I have been struggling with depression and anxiety for quite some time and my sister is one of my biggest sources of support throughout all of it. At the same time that I am dealing with my mental illness, my sister is struggling with epilepsy and I have tried to be her support as well. Instead of being envious of family we just need to be there for them because we never know what they are going through.

Ah the video i've been waiting to see. This is the struggle i put up everyday. People with more success then me and still they are so jellous and hateful. Oh this is a very good story. I know exactly how it feels to have to compete with a sibling for attention from a parent. I know how it feels to be treated differently and to feel alone even when you're with your family. So I get this I understand why the young lady felt the way that she did
