(and that shit actually requires tremendous strength throughout your entire body and control over it) J's alot of gymnasts certainly have the physical ability to kick even alot of fighters ass, they might look funny but they ain't weak trust me

Jcvd had some great fighting movies in his day. But for some reason this fight scene, to me, was probably his best work. The other ones seemed repetitive or over used. Like we get it, he’s flexible lol. Idky but this one just seemed very different. Like he was actually fighting and more versatile

Think the director was one of the "in" Hong Kong directors back then, that Jean Claude really wanted to work with. His style was different from most Van Damme flicks. But I think His work with director John Woo on HARD TARGET is truly his best work.

Probably, because he's not flexing after every punch like the other movies. My man would punch someone and they would be all stunned and wouldn't fight back, while he posed and screamed. Here he's hitting his opponent with fast combos. He does the same thing in Hard Target.
