Jean-Michel Basquiat is one of the most significant painters of the 20th century. Basquiat was an artist who consumed culture voraciously into his art. "Boom for Real" honours the multidisciplinary nature of Basquiat's work and his vital spirit.

I had a ten hour layover and while exploring Frankfurt I happened upon this exhibit. I felt as if I was in the right place at the right time. After learning about JMB in 2005, my life has forever been amplified. Boom for Real is exactly what it was like for me to serendipitously find myself in Frankfurt at the same time this exhibit was showing.
