Such a shame what happened here I never even heard about this til watching random KZfaq videos I've watched hours upon hours of video showing various viewpoints and hearing the terror in the voices of the people in the truck that day the government MURDERED this man I don't think he was reaching for his gun I don't think the MURDER was legally justified I don't think only "8 SHOTS" were fired that day The FBI set up a kill stop where the 3 of them were lucky to live as every time they moved inside the truck bullets were fired at UNARMED CIVILIANS AND THERE WAS NO IMMINENT THREAT OR DANGER NO LEGAL JUSTIFICATION TO BE FIRING ON THIS VEHICLE AFTER MURDERING THIS MAN Police and government EARNING the hate!!!

The thing never mentioned in all this is that citizens have a right to air grievances, but the federal government never affords them the opportunity to do so , if the government truly serves the public then they are obligated to meet with them on common ground, but their response is to send law enforcement and make arrests forcefully if needed , they can not send a representative? They cannot meet on equal ground as a servant to the people? We either have representation or we do not, and these citizens livelyhood was not protected or even considered and in this case not even thier right to life, and you still believe you have liberty?

My sympathy and love to the Finicum family go beyond belief this was a true unjustified show of power from the government i am not an American citizen but am a Canadian citizen and our laws are pretty much simillar to those of the United States, this was most indoubtely a cowardest terrorist act in front of the whole world to see. This is a complete injustice of the people's rights. This man was murdered and was set up as a murder kill in a remote spot. im glad that Jeanette refers to lavoy's death as murder because that is exactly what it was. I live in the uk and was recently just watching youtube videos when all of a sudden I see this video to which turned out to be a clear pre meditated murder of lavoy finicum carried out by the police / fbi. I found the footage to be horrifying to say the least. it was clear that lavoy and other truck occupants feared for their lives and was just trying to get to safety . i.e to get to the sheriff. finally the road block itself speaks for itself. placed on a bend so that lavoy was forced off road to where there was police hiding to pump him with bullets and blame their pathetic actions on because he was fiddling with his pockets . they also blame lavoy for nearly running over an fbi agent at the road block but lavoy had 2 options. 1 to go thru the road block or 2 go up the bank and the stupid fbi agent decided to place himself right in the way of it so how was that lavoys fault. the police are cowards and this was pre meditated murder without a doubt

It's so distressing to see how MSM has remained silent about what happened to this family. Especially now that those rogue officers have been exposed. They murdered this man in cold blood. Finnicum stated in an interview at the camp when he was on TV with a blanket over his legs hiding a rifle that the Feds should not point a weapon at him because if a man points a weapon it means he's going to shoot. Well in the MURDER video by the police you can see that Finnicum 3 times motions his hands near the front side of his jacket but he does not put his hand inside his jacket to take his gun out. Finnicum was trying to force the police to MURDER him which they did & of course the police make up the story that he was going for his gun. 2 shots from from the police officer at the bottom of the film, 1 shot from the 2nd officer at the right of him after the first 2 shots had hit Finnicum. Yet his gun was not in his hand in an attempt to shoot at the police, it was still in his pocket or jacket. They didn't release the officers names in the shooting because they know that people will hold them for MURDER.

I didn’t know much of anything about this situation until yesterday seeing the murder on KZfaq. Having heard both he and his wife speak, these are well meaning, intelligent, well spoken Americans; that didn’t need to have this happen to their family. Where was the “less lethal” ‘officer’? Everyone shot to kill. I don’t know the facts, but was it ever determined if he had a gun? They said “8 shots” and the rest were tear gas. BS. From the first video I saw, which was from inside of the truck, there is no way I would’ve come out either. Every shot sounded like a bullet. Where was the bullhorn asking them to come out with their hands up? Nope, they just kept blasting projectiles at the truck. So much wrong here, IMO. White lives, black lives, all lives matter ... I know all cops aren’t bad...but some are. Just like all people aren’t bad, but some are. And there are laws and rules to keep ALL in line. The problem is, there sometimes seems to be a double standard when your on the “right?” side of the law. This doesn’t help anyone feel safe when a situation like this occurs.

I am just now learning of who Robert LaVoy Finicum was and I am saddened to know our government has the audacity to murder someone who stood up to the powers of the federal government. He is a hero to the people. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I realize it's been over three years since the death of Mr. Finicum, I have watched all the videos over and over at different times over the last few years and I always had an uneasy feeling about what I saw and heard in those videos .Something that was being said didn't fit and I could never figure out what it was until I rewound that same press conference footage again and again and again.Then there I was watching the press conference for the fifth time where they played not only aerial footage but also sinked it with Miss Cox's cell video and then it struck me. the cops were lying. The law enforcement said he was shot reaching in his coat for his gun. that's straight up bullshit and here is why...... the cops said the fired as they saw him reaching for his gun and fired upon him being in fear of eminent danger. Not so , if he was shot in the back three times how did the officers behind him see anything about where his hands were? Or if he inf act was reaching for anything...the fact is they could not have seen anything from their vantage point, especially his hands. I fell on officer shot and the others who shot him followed suit after they heard the first shot thinking it was what needed to happen. based on excitement and adrenalin rush of the moment not on their actual observations of Mr. Finicums hands.
