About I Dream Of Jeannie: Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman star in this classic ‘60s comedy about a genie and her master. When astronaut Tony Nelson is forced to crash-land on a remote Pacific island, he finds a strange bottle that's washed ashore. When he opens it, out pops a genie named Jeannie. Dr. Bellows was funny in his unique style. And Mrs. Bellows was good. 😊. And Major Healy was the funniest person in this show. I Dream of Jeanie was a great and hilarious show! Really good. Loved the show and still do.

Born in '55, I grew up with Jeannie as a favorite show. All the hyjinks Maj Nelson & Healy got into due to Jeannie and poor tortured souls of Major Bellows along with Mrs. Cravits who saw everything but could prove nothing. Mrs. Bellows was more than beautiful as is. Why cant we have clean fun shows like this anymore. Loved it & miss it so much!

Usually when a show with "sexual tention" has run it's course and is about to end its run.... they marry off the actors and try to get a few more episodes out of it. Think of "The Nanny", My Three Sons....

Read the other side of me by Sidney Sheldon and started watching it. It's damn good . Everyone is doing their part so well. In book he mentioned larry was never really happy even with this show and Barbara was amazing that she did not even needed costume to differentiate in playing double role too as her acting showed it. Watching a show after reading how and why show was created and story of real actors behind characters in show period is amazing .

Did you guys ever see the Twilight zone episode title "Aqua Vita"? (Aired Oct. 4, 1986). "Aqua Vita Water. The first bottle is always free!" says the delivery man with a wink. The free delivered jug of bottled water will make any who drink it look noticeably younger and better, so the insecure 40-something female newscaster orders a jug delivered when a younger looking newscaster is hired by her handsome News Producer husband. She sees results and is pleased but when she starts to run out she learns each subsequent bottle is $5,000. After spending massive amounts of money, she finally realizes the con and stops ordering it and practically overnight she experiences rapid, permanent aging, far beyond where she started. Her husband, who truly loves her, drinks the last of the water and you see them later sitting on a park bench, two old-timers holding hands. A perfect Rod Serling ending.

I have Twilight Zone 1980s on DVD. That's one of my favorite episodes. Mimi Kennedy from "Mom" is the newscaster. Christopher MacDonald (the tactical officer from Star Trek TNG: "Yesterday's Enterprise") is the magic water vendor/delivery guy.

Just as odd as having NASA offices look like an Air Force base office with uniformed, active duty military in the entire chain, as well as all the astronauts. That was not NASA in the Gemini and Apollo era. As for Army Strong: NASA Huntsville was built adjacent to Redstone Army Arsenal, the people that built the first successful space launch vehicles (after the Navy rocket blew up) in the late 50s and built the Saturns.

It's coming on air in my country here, but the worse thing is that, they do not come in order. They're just so random that the part where Tony and Jeanie try to get married aired yesterday, and today, it's about her twin sister come visit her. even if there is part 1 and 2 they don't show it continuously 😑 so I had to search it on youtube again.

Amanda Bellows (Emmaline Henry) was too hot to be portrayed as Dr. Bellows' wife. She never got the notoriety of the other characters on the show. Albeit, her role was a minor one.

The funniest parts of this shows, to me, are the countless logical mistakes every episode. For instance, Mrs. Bellows is applying the face cream in front of a mirror, but somehow does not notice the drastic change. I'm not complaining....it is hilarious.
