Facts!! He creates all these babies, and people initially blamed those women "oh, they should have gotten married instead of being a baby momma".... now the tables have turned! This successful woman who didn't want any children was extremely motivated by her husband having "the baby talk", and did so! That's what pissed me off about this crap! EVERYONE knows Jeanie was extremely vocal about not initially wanting children, he knew he was always half heartedly in it, this marriage barely had its feet wet. Then he just pulled the rug underneath his wife and child's feet! This is why i don't preach marriage any longer! Women can't lose to win! Story time Kemp: This happened to me. My ex-husband was cheating on me for 2 years, during my pregnancy and all. When I found out, I took my kids and moved out to give him a moment to think about what he will be losing. Not intending to divorce. 2 weeks later I was being served divorce papers at work and his mistress moved into our home 1 month later. Having experienced it, I definitely agree the other woman is pushing him to do it.

Firstly, I think that they're both playing media games, but I think that Jeannie's playing the smarter game. I do believe that she was blindsided by this divorce. If you recall the same week he filed for divorce he was doing interviews and he had on his wedding ring, and he was bragging about Jeannie and her family in the interview. Even after it was announced that they were getting divorced, he was still wearing his wedding ring and he was posting pictures of himself wearing his wedding ring. I think jeezy definitely blindsided Jeannie with this divorce.

In regards to if there is another woman in the picture who forced him to file divorce…my answer is “could be”, however Jeezy’s track record shows that he makes babies with women and then leaves them. It’s his pattern. That is more of the issues rather than another woman with a relationship so strong that the other woman had the power to force hun to divorce her. Side chicks be “siding” for years and they weren’t even married 2 years so no one was applying the pressure that hard. Jeezy just wants to continue the patterns he’s displayed for years.

Any time a man initiates a divorce, another woman is close by. This is 95 to 99 percent of the time. It happened to my sister when she put her then husband out of the house because she found out he was having an affair; he never married that woman. Instead, he continued to be for the streets. They have been divorced for 15 years.

Barely any. But how many women do you know do all that after a break up? A lot. Men usually are right back in the streets and dating to "occupy their time".

I think some people need to get past their dislike of Jeannie Mai and give her a break. This man has been on a promotional tour since he filed those divorce papers. All of those photos he posted with those subliminal messages, the Nia Long sympathy interview, etc. So I don't blame Jeannie Mai for strategizing. Jeezy knew the moment he asked for counseling what his true intentions were! He only suggested counseling to use as an excuse for a clean get away to make it appear as though he “tried” to work his marriage out. Jeezy is very calculating. I think the thrill for being with Jeanie for him was that she didn’t want kids. So that was a chase for him to get a woman who didn’t want kids to change her mind to boost his ego. Once she had the kid the thrill was gone…mission accomplished .

I can so relate! My ex-husband left a 15 year marriage for a younger woman and also serve me with divorce papers at her request. It happens! A lot of people are giving Jeezy the benefit of the doubt. Yes you can be in a loving marriage and still be side blinded. No once can predict what the other partner is going to do tomorrow, or what they are thinking because we can’t read anyone’s thoughts. People go for marriage counseling every day for different issues so let’s not pretend anyone who goes to counseling ends in divorce. So yea she knew they had issues, yes she has temper issues, yes she can be blamed for many things but Jeezy can also be held accountable for filing without telling his wife. She put up videos of him going to Vietnam a couple of months ago, and it seemed they had a great time, why would she do that knowing he had divorced her??? Anyone who has heard her talk about their relationship knows how deeply she loved that man. So I’m not sure she was willing to just give up everything after 2 years

Jeannie Mai was definitely blindsided. Now, as to your point about the other woman, I will say this after spending over 30 years in law. I am NOT their attorney, so take this with a grain of very experienced and usually correct salt. Most likely, Jeezy cheated (after all, it's his MO, and literally what he has ALWAYS done). Jeannie found out about it and, because he is literally the first man she ever truly loved on the deepest level, she wanted to forgive him. They went to counseling. I can guarantee you (again, from experience) the other woman knew Jeannie would NEVER let go of Jeezy. And most likely, she convinced him to file for divorce. There is zero chance Jeannie would ever have cheated on Jeezy. *Trust me: When a woman spends her life with men she "tolerates" but then finally has a husband that makes her feel **_SAFE_** and allows her to truly exhale, she will NOT mess that up.*

Whether she was blindsided or not Jennie is a business woman and I don’t blame her for using this situation to her advantage. People says she’s lying about the cheating, as a married woman I can say a woman will know if her husband is currently cheating or has in the past and not say a word, they will hang on to the knowledge and use it how they see fit. Regardless the cheating clause in the prenup was genius imo.

I knew my marriage was about to be over when we separated and started discussing counseling so..... On a personal note: You know when your marriage is possibly over. I've been watching first wives club too! Love it! But it's not always another woman behind it. There are too many circumstances that may come in to play when married. From not seeing eye to eye, forgetting to be a team mate not just in public but in private, loving each other for who they are and not what you want them to be, compromising when it matters, making certain decisions about the kids without consulting each other(this one is important because some dads whether famous or not, DO NOT want their kids to be shown on social media but a mother may want to and that is a conflict of interest) and etc... It's just too many factors that become huge issues in marriage without cheating.

My opinion only (please respect it), 1.) I don’t think she was blindsided. I think she thought because of who she was, he would never divorce her. 2.) When a divorce is filed, the other person is served. We didn’t know about the filing for almost two months, so that’s the disingenuous part of her finding out when we did. She would have been served within days. 3.) I’ve never heard that about a man filing based on another woman but it is true that men don’t traditionally file. However, my father was going to file first, they went to counseling, then my mom decided to file after counseling didn’t work. 4.) I agree that Jeannie understands PR, he never bashed her. I think there were very clear cultural differences that he probably didn’t understand the Magnitude of until after the marriage. 5.) He doesn’t need a reason to file. He can simply not want to be married anymore because no one would question her if she filed first. 6.) I think she was playing up to the sympathy of women as her being the doting wife who was blindsided by her husband leaving her alone and without notice with a baby. I just personally don’t believe that’s how it went down. 7.) Based on her behavior on The Real at times, she doesn’t seem to read the room very well, so while he may have thought he was being clear about not being happy, she sometimes acts blissfully ignorant to the facts of what’s happening.

Respectfully correcting you: You can file for divorce and then have it take months to serve the spouse. Sometimes you can't find the other party, sometimes you just take a long time to serve the papers. The only disingenuous thing would be Jeezy filing and then not serving Jeannie until months later IMHO.

I believe he had thoughts and didn't like the situation, but the same way he has yet to verbalize why he left, it seems like she didn't get a clear explanation either. Women when we leave, we have a dozen reasons: acts of betrayal, lack of participation, secrets they kept, etc. He may not like how she chews her food. Men are petty like that. I remember one guy i dated switching one day, poking my love handle and saying, "What is this?" It was there all the time and basically, I knew another woman he met had no love handle LOL. I think men don't say why they leave because they are also embarassed how silly the reason is. Jeannie Mai will be best off just moving on and not talking about it. We know Jeezy was a punk in this situation and that's all.

ooh @kempire i saw that on first wives club and i thought this too. Also, my sister's new fiancee, yes.. she initiated his divorce from his wife. She met him, they were confirmed separated. 3mos later my sis printed out papers online to start his divorce. He signed them, my sister filed them. Turns out, he and his exe had been separated over a year, he just didn't see the point in doing the paperwork. So yes, i believe divorces are initiated because of a new relationship. It sounds like they were in counseling and the counseling wasn't working. He wasn't seeing the change he needed to see and was ready to move on

Jeezy has been doing interviews from September when he leaked the divorce..... Jeannie has barely said anything. This is her second interview talking about it. First Sherri Show and now Jennifer Hudson. Jeezy has been on a world tour bigger than Jada Pinkett Smith's book release, so we're not gonna try to act like Jeannie is using the media and being media "savvy'. He released a book, announced his divorce, then released an album.

I don't really know who cheated or "who shot John" as my grandmother would say, but this is what I do know. Having a small child that is adored by both parents and their extended families means that some event dates will have to be discussed. Some level of compromise is necessary for their little one to feel the love of both parents and their villages. Like one of the other comments, parenting is a lifelong commitment. It is helpful when you can get along with the other parent and celebrate together as family.

I believe jeanie. On her KZfaq channel and on the talk show she mentioned she believed in therapy on an ongoing basis to maintain healthy communication. My understanding is that they were going to counseling before marriage and continued during marriage. I think Jeezy has never had a healthy relationship and took the counseling to mean they were in trouble.

What does blindsided mean? Because if they tried multiple therapists over 2 years and weren’t even living in the same city, that’s a broken marriage. And if a marriage is broken I don’t believe anyone should pretend to be blindsided by a filing. A lot of women do this too after struggling with a ninja for years, you just leave. It’s understandable imo.

It appears she wanted to keep things private, but when a liar and his mistress are pushing this insanity, she is left with no choice but to respond accordingly. That being said, I wish they would take this madness off social media considering they are going to be pulling a runner up to the Kim and Kroy moron drama. It's essential they co-parent and realize the key to that is to stop degrading the other parent and stick to prioritizing the child. Counseling doesn't mean you're getting a divorce. It means you're working on something in your marriage and you needed professional help. Michelle and Barack went through therapy- didn't they? Adrienne Bailon and husband Israel went through therapy almost 5 years into their marriage and they're still together- aren't they?

A) I’ve known a couple men who wouldn’t divorce their wives without securing a backup. Doesn’t mean this is the case with all men filing for divorce. But in the cases I’m talking about the men did want to leave their wives regardless and way before they initiated with side chicks but wouldn’t pull the trigger unless they could guarantee they wouldn’t be lonely 🙄 B) lots of people a in counseling and fighting for their marriage. Unless it’s explicitly said “this isn’t working out, I don’t want to be here anymore, I want to separate”, I think the assumption is that both parties will continue to work on their marriage. It’d even be one thing if he had said “we’ve been separated for a while” or “We’ve been living separate lives and been living in separate rooms” okay maybe I can understand that. But just “we were in counseling so it should have been obvious”. Noooo sirr

Jeannie knows how to deal with Divorces, she has great lawyers and they are telling her exactly how to play it. She did it with Freddy, she made it seem like it just suddenly happened and that it was amicable they were cool... the minute it came out the baby mama was pregnant she went into victim mode and acted like she found out with us meantime her and Freddy had separated for a long time. I think she knew Jeezy was thinking about divorce but she just never thought he would go ahead and file. so Jeezy on the other hand has terrible lawyers .who ever drew up his prenup...he needs his money back😂🤦🏽‍♀️ -Now I'm curious as to when she found out about the cheating? -Surely that's not why they went to counselling because Jeezy wouldn't be able to claim there was no cheating if he mentioned it in couple counselling.

When couples or families go to counseling, it's to improve communication. Obviously, communication is still an issue. She was blindsided by the divorce like he was blindsided by her family moving in? We all just forgot about that?!
