According to legal documents obtained by NBC News, Jeezy filed paperwork on Thursday to end his and Jeannie's marriage and is requesting joint custody of their 1-year-old daughter, Monaco. The breakup news brings Jeannie and Jeezy's four-year love story to a close. This was a woman with her guard up, and positively declined these types of situations. But, she gave in because love was winning. She didn’t want kids, she was independent and she held her own ground. I feel for her because NO ONE wants to be a divorced wife with a child, especially when she was avoiding that for so long. Now, I LOVE ME SOME JEEZY! I’m from the hood and I have been a fan of his for years! But, I wish he had thought this out before publicly humiliating his family. May God bless both sides. Marriage is work. It’s never said that it’s easy. You’re going to have trials. Praying for them all.❤💯

@@876me7 I’m not saying he didn’t think he was making a life commitment to her. What am questioning is did he think about the damage behind his decision, to leave her and his daughter, and the effect and impact that it would have on his family. This doesn’t just affect him, but his wife, their track record, and the way that society is. I don’t know anything about their inside life, but the image that was displayed doesn’t reflect what’s happening now for him or her. Hastily divorcing is never good for anyone. A couple months ago they were a beautiful family! Now This!? Again, prayers for them both.

A divorced ex-wife! Baby mama is for those who had their children out of wedlock! I personally feel the word is degrading for all women! I always refer to a BM as your or the child's MOTHER! SHE WAS MARRIED AND GETTING A DIVORCE, which makes her and ex-wife with a child. Just my thoughts! Your comment was well said though.

I think it’s too late to work it out since he is the one that filed for divorce. I wonder what happened. I was rooting for them. They got together the same time my boyfriend and I got together and during the pandemic, our love flourished. Unfortunately, my boyfriend just left me after four years. It’s devastating and heartbreaking. I haven’t felt this pain in many many years.

Had Jeezy and Jeenie kept their personal lives private instead of sharing their deepest transformations and so much information on how they think and live daily, I wonder if they be in this place in their lives right now. Although Jeenie’s boasting is entertaining and fun to listen to, it's has gotten the public so invested in their lives, it's going to really hurt now because the world is going to mock her and throw everything she has publically said in her face. People can be meaner than the devil himself. I hope she surrounds herself with a few strong therapists that she can have on speed dial as she go through this storm. My heart goes out to them both. Hopefully they can find themselves back in each other’s arms and eventually reconcile. My heart and prayers goes out to them both. This is so sad. Maybe because it symbolizes a death.

Always keep your personal life private, never boast, never brag. Be thankful for your blessings and stay humble. We as individuals do not ever have to brag or talk about anything that’s good if it’s good, you know it’s good and always stay prayed up. I have always said that if you want something to last keep the lid on it. Never give up on your dreams, and always stay true to yourself, and your blessings will come back around. Not necessarily that something drastically happened why he filed - sometimes these men see the divorce coming, and if they are a narcissist, they will try to first you to the court even if the woman was done with him during the marriage. I'm speaking from experience here that happened to me, but what he did not know is that he spared me the coins from paying a lawyer. I was able to use that money for a down payment on the construction of a new home. I did not take this man for no alimony for he did even have it. I wanted to get out of that marriage within the same year I got married the moment I saw who I was dealing with.

I thought they made a great couple but I'm waiting to see how many black men going to drag her through the mud like they would if she was a black woman that he was divorcing. They are so quick to say why they are so much better off with another type than their own kind, so I'm going to just see how many of them drag her for flith like they sisters. Typically, if a man files it's usually a strong indication that something fowl was done by his wife and that may be the case here, at any rate I'm sorry they won't be able to work through it with such a young kid that will not have both of her parents fulltime anymore. Marriage is hard and it's a lot more to it than most are willing to commit to and I think him losing his mother may have caused him to move too quickly to marriage because he was fearful of not having that one steady rock in his life.

I am not sure what happened but I am hoping this is something both parties can come to a civil discussion one day where she, Jeezy, and Monaco will benefit together collectively. Its hard to watch but hope a reconciliation may come very soon.❤❤❤❤ to both of them hope this will be temporary and something they will both be weather the storm. I think you should leave divorce as the final option. When you have exhausted all possibilities and tried marriage counseling, individual therapy, and even getting your pastor, priest, or rabbi involved too. Leave that choice as the final straw.

Yes I think Jeezy past is haunting him with his upbringing, his Thug and Drug lifestyle and other Babies Mothers. His history was never a clean slate in the beginning for Jeannie lifestyle and culture. I always thought they were Salt and Pepper that didn’t mixed together on the plate in the beginning. I just hate she let her guards down too soon for him before the marriage. She should’ve just dated his ass before saying I do too soon. He came to her with too much baggage in the beginning of their relationship. I guess it’s true Good Girls like Thug Boys. Some works and some don’t. He he just smashed her in the face going to Atlanta filing a divorce. I think God is protecting and saving her and Monaco from potential danger. A Better man will seek her. Just take her time and enjoy being single mom she is and won’t be the 1st. Don’t try to fix something broken he already disrespected her on social media and in front of the judge that’s there’s no reconciliation. He said that so be done with his ass. The Book got him Big headed and his lifestyle still got him stuck.

This woman loves her husband and I know she’s hurt! I have no clue what made him file for divorce, but I truly hope it wasn’t over something foolish, that he could have worked it out, it’s sad. @laceymosley5111 which means they're not that popular they're not that relevant anymore they're not that interesting of a couple they lost clout they were relevant for a while cause she had her show so when you're not making enough money to help support the household if you started out the marriage saying we'll support the household and family 50/50 and one of you can't keep up with the other then money problems start to happen you start to argue and can't work it out then you file for a divorce so no money to put food on the table equals hunger so love leaves out the window
