About I Dream Of Jeannie: Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman star in this classic ‘60s comedy about a genie and her master. When astronaut Tony Nelson is forced to crash-land on a remote Pacific island, he finds a strange bottle that's washed ashore. When he opens it, out pops a genie named Jeannie. Not only does she get him back to civilization safely, she also smuggles herself aboard the rescue plane. Jeannie becomes Tony's constant companion. But though she happily grants his every wish, she causes more than her fair share of trouble.

I was never one to crazy over except for Barbara Eden. I’ve always thought it’s the sexiest laugh I’ve ever heard. Add to everything else she had and there wasn’t a brick out of place!

The “I’m not cracking up, I’m not cracking up” part was included in “I Dream of Jeannie: 15 Years Later”, but instead of Jeannie blinking from a mug on the shelf, I think it was pulled from a Hawaii episode

Well, he doesn't quite know HOW she can do it. He knows she possesses magic abilities, but as a scientist, he's curious. Apparently, Jeannie's magic hinges on what she's THINKING {'I think *hot*"}.

Debate was Jeannie or Samantha Jeannie wins in the overall, her sexy voice when “her sister” comes for a visit, so much deeper and it has kinda of purring to it. And always looked amazing.

Tony's explanation at 3:42 sounds like it may be right. I looked up cloud seeding and, while I'd have to read about in more depth, the writers may have been on point about that. Now could Tony have scientifically explained genies?

What I never liked about this scene is Doctor Bellows sayings it's sunny everywhere else when it was obviously pouring down rain just a few minutes earlier. Also how could he know it's just snowing over the one house when he was at the house when it started snowing?

Not during the 1966-'67 season. The show was primarily sponsored by Colgate-Palmolive at the time- so it would have to be a box of Ajax.....or Fab. 😉

All he had to do to get Dr bellows office back is a geannie get rid of Dr bellows. She says what do you want me to do with him master and he says I don't care send him to the cornfield in a car crusher or at the bottom of the lake I don't care but get rid of Dr bellows he ask too many questions.

Tony doesn't want Jeannie to do ANYTHING to Doctor Bellows. As he told her in "My Master, the Magician", "He's only doing his job". In "The Greatest Inventuion in the World", he insisted "NASA needs him" when General Peterson, tired of Bellows ruining his uniforms, wants to reassign him to Iceland. Jeannie sees to it that he's back in the General's good graces, and stays on the base. Besides, if something happened to Doctor Bellows, WHO would get the blame?

1) It helped to drive the show. 2) Dr Bellows has a scientific mind and wants answers for bizarre occurrences. Plus I always loved seeing Tony come up with ridiculous answers to all the absurd things that only happened around him.
