My self-care is my #1 priority. 8+ hrs sleep, daily exercise, daily stretching+yoga, and proper nutrition. Regular self-reflection. Growing plants. Playing w/ my dog. Without caring for myself and my own needs, my bandwidth for helping others suffers.

Many of us get too busy with LIFE itself taking care of others, that we forget to take better care of OURSELVES. It's OK to be a little SELFISH. TY for posting such an IMPORTANT subject. My wife, Michele recently found your channel and LOVES it. She has been taking care of so many people in her life, that she barely spends time on HERSELF. I was recently hospitalized and am now home recovering (with her and our little dog, Zora taking AWESOME care of me). :-)

I never had a good relationship with my mom and I never met my grandmother so I never had a connection with any of the women in my life but watching your videos makes me feel like I'm getting that care and attention I needed from them, so thank you for making me feel special.

Jeannie, I’ve never left a comment on KZfaq before. As a young girl I went through some trauma, my Nanny or Grandma was a hypnotherapist and our healing sessions were my first introduction to ASMR. This was when I was 7 years old! At 14, I moved to the other side of the world and I have not seen her since. I am now 25 years old. We were so close, and she can’t bare to hear the sound of my voice as it breaks her heart. It’s hard to not have contact with her, but you bring me the same peace she gave me. Although you are not her, you have the kind, soft, inspirational, brave heart and mind that she carried. I can’t thank you enough for your videos, they mean so much to me and I have loved watching your channel and passion grow!
