@@jayazathoth8530Of Bartlet's three kids, she's the least close to him. He once asked her godmother "how come I could never get her to like me?" because he hated that they didn't have a close relationship, later in that conversation he also said that he'd always had an easier time bonding with his two other kids. She also once told him, during an argument, "I don't know how to make you happy dad, for that you'd have to ask Zoe or Liz". She loved him and he loved her as they were family, but they weren't particularly close for a father and daughter. Bartlet can be nerdy, particularily about issues relating to economics, law, religion, and government, but that's a very different "type" of nerd than this guy. This guy is the socially awkward scientist and a heart of gold type nerd whereas Bartlet is a charismatic politician and economist who also loves arcane trivia and details of constitutional law type nerd. Lol. Half of my family is Catholic. Of that half, only about 75% married in a church. It's considered an "irregular marriage". Some were outdoors. One was married at home. The Bishop has to approve locations other than the church. So it really depends upon who your Bishop is. Some are more conservative than others.

You do know why Sorkin had to be fired right? He was arrested in a Crack house. Like once Sorkin was fired and went to court ordered rehab he was allowed back to be a show runner again... But could you imagine a deep into the addiction of Crack Cocaine running a show at NBC about the White House staff? Like this was not an executive meddling or behind the scenes Executive producer decision... This was a necessary decision. You can't have a Crack addict running a multi million dollar show on prime time tv. At least not publically known. Sorkin for his own health and safety needed to go rehab for his own good and someone had to take over. I guarantee when Sorkin was pitching Newsroom to HBO they were like yeah we're gonna put some bimonthly Drug tests for you into this contract... Are you okay with that? Clean and sober for over a decade. I welcome it.
