That guitar solo is perfection. He didnt cheapen it by going rock and roll but kept it lyrical. Stunning

I bought one of Jedd's first records and honestly I was not impressed. But he is an incredible guitarist, and I saw him play with Rodney Crowell in Athens, Ga. and I was literally amazed by the textures he injected into Rodney's already stunning songs. The dude is one of a kind.

I think Jedd's cover is great. I'm not sure if he altered the lyrics on purpose or not but the look on his face then was priceless. I have been listening to covers of this song for over 3 hours straight and this is the best yet. Very nice indeed.

Yes thanks Larry I did. I heard it almost each day at least once for a week via several different stations and platforms and I honestly didn't recognize it as Dylan. By this time it was totally stuck in my head and Dylan's version is so haunting. So I went on a fact finding expedition which then led to finding this huge amount of covers. I am sure I listened to more than a dozen. I like Bob's the best then Cher's, that was a huge surprise, then this one.

Jedd. Mate. Real good. Loved reading the comments. Mate you win hands down. But Jedd can I make one single observation. Mate I picked up the facial grin when you sang the lines: ....."hands are dirty, but his clothes are clean". Jedd mate I think it might be a good time to have a quick re-read of the song lyrics.
