He introduced us to some incredible dishes such as Murtabak, Fuul and Masoub. Then we had the pleasure of being taken to see his favourite football team Al Ittihad Club play in the Saudi Pro League. An amazing experience at the King Abdullah Stadium in Jeddah.
Once again, we are humbled and astounded by Saudi Arabian hospitality.

Perhaps there are peoples and countries that are ignorant of the history of the Saudi Arabian people in the Arabian Peninsula... Now it is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia... Hospitality and generosity existed even before Islam, and appreciating guests is necessary and obligatory... The legend of generosity (Hatim Al-Tai) is the best evidence.

I started following Saudi primier league for Neymar,Ronaldo, Benzema, Kante, Jota, Brozobic , Mane, Mendi,Koulybally and so on Players. Besides, English primier League,now i watching Saudi league regularly .

It was really delicious and a culinary highlight of the region for me. ☺️. It was incredibly sweet and really dense so it was really filling and a great way to start the day or even makes a good dessert. We hadn't heard of it before and I really do think it would be popular back home if introduced. 🤔😊

Masoub is very easy to make! Here is a recipe for you : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z8yKnsuh0bKwgpc.html&feature=shareb The main ingredient is wholemeal bread. It used to be baked from scratch but now you can use wholemeal pitta bread, chapati or even toast. You can use butter instead of Gee. You also could add whatever you like to them but I would recommend trying the original recipe before modifying. In my household we usually have Masoub before fasting because it is so filling.

Wednesday, today is Eid al-Adha, so most restaurants and small groceries will be closed for one day only, but large supermarkets such as Carrefour and so will remain open. I hope you are fully prepared. I wish you good luck and success Eid-ul-Adha Mubarak everyone

It is not true what I mentioned restaurants never close in Saudi Arabia until after midnight, and some of them remain open 24 hours, as well as the same for supermarkets, pharmacies and markets

@@otekka3 I am talking about the first day of Eid only the first day that happens: Small groceries and small restaurants are closed because most of them celebrate the blessed Eid, which most of the honorable visitors go to( to experience the culture). Only nternational and large brand: malls, supermarkets, and restaurants are open, such as Carrefour McDonald's , big malls and so will remain open Of course, pharmacies are open 24 hours a day, but I did not talk about that, because it is necessary. This is a fact because most of them want to celebrate. Of course, our homes are open to honorable visitors if they want to come and eat (traditional food) on this day or other days. Welcome

Interesting video You should try (Kabsa). It is a common meal among all regions of Saudi Arabia. In fact, every region in Saudi Arabia has its own traditional food. And every meal is commensurate with the nature of the place. The food of the mountainous regions differs from that of the coastal regions and differs from that of the desert regions..and so on. Try a google search for: (The most popular Saudi food) You will be lucky if the traditional Saudi food festival is held while you are still in Saudi Arabia.

Hi Mandy / Lee, Going to a game is always an experience, not for the sport itself, but to mix with the locals. That stadium is oversized for the number of fans but as many players are going to Saudi, the number of fans is likely to increase. The Saudi government buy players like Ronaldo, Benzema and place them in whatever team they decide with the idea is to provide few good players to most clubs and have a championship more leveled. Hi Sergio, Yes it's always an interesting experience to mix with the locals for any game they are passionate about, whatever the sport. I love my football and have been to many games big and small worldwide and love it. The smaller ones usually the better. 😊 You can see why the big players who are due to retire are happy to go and play there for a few years. The money is insane! I lived in Australia and used to go to A league games there and they often had a token over the hill quality European player in the ranks to get the fans in. They're good but I'm not sure how much effort they really put in at the very end of their career. 🤔 All good fun. Have a great week. 👍🙏

@@FrugalTravellers Hi Lee, Getting Ronaldo was a good move for Saudi despite the cost. We westerners ended up watching Al Nassr. He gave the club a massive visibility internationny. That said, it must be difficult for his teammates. Imagine working with someone with a salary 50x bigger for doing the same job... 😬

Glad you liked it ! Foul is eaten all over the Arab world with recipes varying from country to country. So we can’t say Foul is a Saudi traditional breakfast dish but we can say we have our own version of it😅 Saudi Foul. The Mausoob and Mutabak came originally from Yamen and are popular throughout the country. The Saudi cuisine is so VAST and it differs from region to region to region and in same regions, such as the southern region Aseer,from tribe to tribe or village to village😅 I don’t think you have eaten the real Saudi stuff so far 😅

by the way im from saudi arabia exactly from jeddah i will give you sure informetion MASOUB is originates from hijaz jeddah mecca madinah taif not from yemen and if you go to yemen you will not find MASOUB in all the yemen you will find only MARSA i hope to visit the yemen and you wiil remember me ALL THE BEST

actually the accurate name is mutabbaq, not murtabq, it means they fold the dough, and hejaz already multicultural region, no need to introduce it to south west asia by traders, and also masoub not yemeni food, they claim everything, and btw this guy Yemeni not saudi

كل الدول العربيه تفطر فول وكل دوله لها طريقتها وطعمها الخاص فول وطعميه في مصر فول وحمص سوريا ولبنان فول وسمن سعودي وفول في اليمن .. لا تقول فطور يمني كل العرب يفطرون فول بطرقهم الخاصه

الفطور هذا ليس له اي صله باليمن... اولا الفول طبق عربي ...المطبق طبق ماليزي او تايلندي فهو طبق شعبي بهذي البلدين ....واخيرا المعصوب هو مشهور بالحجاز والجنوب مع زيادة اضافات فقط ... فنفس الخبزه هذي كانت غذاء اجدادنا وكانو يسونها بالتمر والسمن ويضيفون لها حليب وتسمى فتيته ...😊 مع العلم اغلب الاكل اليمني ليس يمني فاللحوح اكله افريقيه ... والزربيان هو نفسه البرياني الهندي و الشاي العدني هو الكرك الهندي .. وبشكل عام الطبخات اليمنيه اغلبها بالاصل هنديه😊
