It's pretty much only day boats in Saudi Arabia at the moment. Rumour has it that there's a liveaboard launching at the end of the year - not sure how much Covid and the political situation have messed up those plans. I believe the plans are to run 7 day voyages around the Farasan Banks, based out of Al Lith (about 300km south of Jeddah). Technically, there are tourist visas available now for Saudi Arabia which *should* make it possible for foreigners from outside the country to join the boat, but being Saudi Arabia, it's liable to change, and not exactly straightforward. If you do try it, I'd strongly recommend doing it through a diving specialist travel agency with local connections. Saudi Arabia isn't an independent travel kind of place, and it's not cheap either, so don't put your money at risk trying to save a few euros by doing it yourself. Everything I've heard says the diving is great though - so if you get the chance and the resources together, go for it :) Lead the way!
