I was invited in a tournament hosted by the best Chinese players. Within the tournament we had XQN as well. In this kind of a difficult lobby you cannot just roach your way onto top 4. You need to not only play perfectly but also get lucky. This game is the perfect example, where without luck you cannot get top 4 so I hope you enjoy watching!

That lobby was cracked. Like jeef played well and highrolled out of his mind and was still almost losing rounds. It was almost sad to see how strong he was and still had chances to just die

I don't know about everyone else but I'd like to see the games where you aren't lucky but still manage to do ok. I think a lot of us watch you to learn, but there's not as much to learn when you're highrolling. Personally I really struggle with those lobbies where Bob doesn't seem to offer you any direction in a timely manner, and I find myself playing with random units that I didn't want to buy but felt forced to.

In this tournament, jeef wasn't doing well when unlucky. The field was so stacked, that skill differential is minimal. Otoh, there's plenty of midroll 1st by jeef on the ladder posted

I mean the minions you buy in the midgame should give you a sense of direction, you shouldn't be buying any minions that are trash. If the Tavern doesn't offer you anything in the early game then it's better just to upgrade the tavern.

He posted a video on how to upgrade, and for terrible luck he offered the "three on three" and "four on four" strategies (still bad, but better than buying trash).

Why it is correct (I assume since you seem to always prefer) to buy something that doesn't change the game like Gambler and send her after next refresh instead of just rolling and keeping the same amount of money?

We so don't play the same game haha. You plan ahead what can be planned ahead, react in a split second to opportunities, play until the last second but manage to play your end of turn units and position them correctly. Yes, you were lucky. But I'd still have blown it up if it had been me. GG.

sometimes i see you put a smaller minion in front even when they dont have like a divine shield taunt or anything . can you explain the logic behind your ordering a bit for me?

it’s to break a divine shield or take a poison, they’re not as useful at the back end of your lineup

or sometimes they’ll even save your divine shield / venom for a bigger minion if the enemy has a weak taunt just to guarantee it gets deathrattle or their first minion gets a free hit off with divine shield

I have the sensation that 1 time (when there was 4 player) he greed way too much the scaling and instead of using the last 10 sec to place his card, he use to just buy every card he see instead.

It's obviously a joke, Ozumat player is #3 ranked Europe, it's an invitational tournament with players from very top of regional ladders. Ozumat was 100 % the best hero offered, jeef is laughing at several players getting 'f2p debuffed', getting bad hero picks. He's also joking about his bad performance on the prior rounds, getting fast top 8s due to bad hero picks and starts. It's quite the opposite of being condescending or in any way snide towards his opponents or f2p players (of which obviously none were in the lobby)
