Jeep Cherokee with ABS light and Traction Control light on. The tone ring within the wheel bearing was faulty.

What I particularly like about your style is that it is obvious you don't pre-loosen bolts and parts prior to doing the video ... which always makes repairs (artificially) look much easier than they are in reality. So we don't have to wonder why the task appears to be so much more difficult when WE do it, than when YOU do it ... which always make me lose confidence in myself!

i sure enjoyed your proffecional repair video, i used to be a mechanic in the 70's and 80's and early 90's ,my wife own's a 2006 grand cherokee lorado . and they want twenty two hundred dollars to replace air condishner evap coil under the dash, said u had to take the whole dash out to repair. So we are not getting it fixed lol ,i have bought good running vehicles for lots less in the 80's and 90's. you didn't have all these problems with vechicles then, they had real metal in them, instead of plastick and non functional computers, but thanks again for the video, youre a very good mechanic ....honest too

Thank you sir! I appreciate the feedback. I also agree about the newer cars and how they basically build them to fail. People get so excited over all the new gadgets and functions in these new cars and all I see is more things to fail eventually!

@TomsFoolery Tom, I enjoyed your video. I started as a mechanic, finished as an engineer on SUVs. You are correct the vehicles are not engineered to last forever, this is to keep cost as low as possible for manufacturers. What has people confused is bodies don't rust as fast and some parts but not all last forever. So people look at vehicle that is ten years old with 150000 miles and because outside it looks okay they struggle to understand why parts are not OK. So we all want the vehicles to be inexpensive new and last forever. Didn't someone say you can't have your cake and eat it too? Another nice video. I wonder if that hub bearing without speed sensor is cheaper than the ones that include the sensor p.o.a. ?

Logical, straight forward diagnostics. I wondered if you'd find some carnage after getting it apart. Good point, about not getting the antiseize onto the surface of the tone ring. I agree with you about torque specs, it seems to be a thing that has crept into internet talking circles.

Torque specifications are necessary in order to not over or under tighten a bolt.

The nut you were talking about at the 17:15 minute mark, do you need an air ratchet specifically to get that tightened??

Unsure if it makes the difference or if im confusing myself and they dont even come these wsys but for the E14 external torx socket does it need to be a 6 point or 12 point or is that asking the same thing as is it metric or SAE ? If it is the same thing than i believe ive answered my own confusing question already. My question still stands if you can get both the metric or SAE versions in either the 12 point or 6 point variations instead of the metric being 6 point and SAE 12 point or vice versa. If this is to hard to understand ir a dumb question just ignore lol

When he takes the brake assembly off where does he place it? I know that’s a stupid question probably but I see that it’s connected by a wire/tube or whatever

@@Tomsfoolery. A lot of the so called professionals tighten a bolt with an impact wrench until it stops moving.
