Wow 😮 you did a great job, however I don’t think I can do that. 😩 My Jeep is always wet. Vacuum fan repeat.

Question, if the hose is clogged on the floor does it back up and leak from the top, I know this is a obvious yes but I see no videos where it’s connected at the top

It connects thru the body metal to be flush with the track for the sunroof

I have a Jeep Commander that leaks. 😩 I tried the hose exit rubber nipple trick, didn’t work. So here I am.

Just checked my sunroof hose it looked fine but the floor is still getting wet somehow I’m not sure where the water is coming from

Hi! My sunroof leaked after a heavy rain and filled up my driver floorboard. I unclogged the tubes after it rained. My new problem is that my dashboard lights flicker randomly, including my secondary lights next to my headlights. Sometimes the turn signals don't blink while the dash is spasming. I probably have water damage to a connector somewhere. Can you tell me where I should look so I can dry out the wires or connectors?

I had that same issue it’s your headlight / turn signal switch . Needs to be replaced or just remove it clean it and spray a bit of WD40 in the mechanism. Worked for me try it you need a T10-14 screw bit to take it out .

It actually turned out to be a dying ignition switch. I replaced it, and everything worked fine again. I believe there was a service bulletin for that issue also.

@@jayjackson3674 yeah mine also had that issue had the ignition switch replaced by recall cause the knee of the driver would hit it . They replaced it with a 2 step ignition switch that you push in then turn so it locked the key inside . But I got rid of the jeep in 2019 had it for about 8 years . Like it a lot but it was super annoying when ever it rained it was a nightmare. It would always leak if not from the sunroof it would leak from the doors or the speakers.

Thank you for the video. I have been going at this job for a while. I did not know there was a total of 4 blue drain lines. Please confirm that you can't access these 2 rear drain line from the outside of the sunroof. Please provide more detail on how the sunroof seal was replaced. On my Commander, in addition to the sunroof front drain line, I found a leak from the rear window (or it is coming from the 2 blue rear drain line) ? I should test with a plastic tarp covering the rear glass piece. To Jay, I also had the crazy flashing problem. I then unplugged the battery to avoid frying something. I unplugged the drains. I inspected the fuse box under the dash (driver side). A lot of water was present in the area of the fuse box. I removed the fuse box and took it inside to dry it. Having the fuse box inside, I inspected the contacts after removing fuses and relays. I found no evidence of corrosion. I pushed further and even openned a few relays to look for damages at the circuits. Some trace of rust were in the black compartment of the relays. These relays should be cleaned, inspected and replaced if you can't relay on them. Thank you. Frank.

The seal itself is easy to just slide off of the glass and slide the new one on. Seal can be found online and on rockauto.com for about $60-$75

Hi! Where are the rear drain outlets of the sunroof I can not locate, the front ones are fine, my roof leaks

You have the same issue I had the rear tubes were never brought thru the rocker panel. Are your outer rockers rusted thru? If you remove the rear side panels (plastic interior ones) you will see the rear blue tubes coming down into the rocker area. You should be able to pull them up and then possibly drill some holes and run them down and thru. run a hose over your sunroof with it closed. pull the plastic trim ring off of it and look to the rear of the truck inside and you will see the water drip from the sunroof onto the aluminum track. You can order a new sunroof seal which will fix the leak. The seals can be found online for around $60-$80.
