My grandfather had the second or third FC imported into Canada. Gaud I miss that truck...

@@Topofthemoningtoyou don’t tell me you’ve lost this lil beauty? My grandfather broke the front axel and she wound up sitting for near thirty years. My cousin fitted a new one in it, drove it for a year and sent it on to the crusher... ripped my heart out. :/ I’m over it now... mostly lol

My dad had 1 as I was maybe a baby, he changed it to an isuzu diesel and added a roof air conditioner. I recall it around vegly.

I have a '57 FC 150 located near Seattle, WA. I initially thought that since Willy's was cheap, they'd reuse a lot of other Jeep parts, but the FC's are unique vehicles indeed. What leaf springs are you using? Did you ever think about doing a cable shift mod to an AX15?

I never did consider the cable control due to the lack of room in the cab for a shifter and offroading with an auto is so nice at times.

How is the bump steer? I notice the way you have it set up as the truck bumps down the truck will have a tendency to turn right, opposite with rebound??

No issue as long as the steering stabilizer in on their without it i get life threatening wheel hop, but add the stabilizer and all is good

@@Topofthemoningtoyou That dash setup you have is on par with my Taco if not better. Video of you overlanding in it would be sweet. I'd love to see that beast go down muster ground road and setup camp. Maybe even bring the Taco and do a comparison?
