REAR MOTOR MOUNT INQUIRIES... I get lots of questions on 4wd rear motor mount removal, labor time is less than 1hr for rear mount [anything more then you're the problem 😂]. I'll list removal instructions below, they're pretty much cut and dry! You'll definitely have to get access to bolts by positioning your body above or below engine compartment to ease effort. Goodluck! 1.Remove rear mount retaining bolts (4).2.Remove rear mount through bolt (1) .3.Remove oxygen sensor connector (2) from mount.4.Remove rear mount (3). -as simplistic as instructions are, you may have to jack up engine via floor jack [with wooden block between for protection], to elevate motor for Clarence for removal.

Hey i noticed some of your viewers were asking about vibration at stop or in park. Could be rough idle due to bad idle control valve. I found this video because im definitely going to have to replace some of my mounts on my 2014 jeep Patriot. Very good video . Thanks

So I have a 2015 jeep patriot when I drive it. It sounds like something is loose up under my car. I know it could either be my motor Mount, or rotors anyway I was just wondering if anybody had the same problem… also my my car shakes real bad when at a stand still and whenever I get up to 60 on my mph it shakes 4:06

@partsshooter2 жыл бұрын
Check the idle conditions of the engine.... Google or check for videos as to "how to clean throttle body". Possibly you have low idle conditions. If your check engine lights on, investigate that and see if the issues correlated with what you're experiencing.
@brianlabarbera69562 жыл бұрын
@@partsshooter OK thanks! I have no lights on at the moment but I am sure the throttle body could use a clean. Also, seems to be worse in drive/park as opposed to neutral so Im going to do a transmission fluid service as well. Currently at 115k miles.

My patriot will shake rattle and roll in drive and stop in park and neutral.. it's one hell of a design flaw. I have just decided to live with it, and believe it's unfixable
@phillippardo5712 Жыл бұрын
Did you ever find a fix? Mine vibrates in drive pretty bad. In park it isn't as bad and noticed if I put the e brake on shift to neutral then park the vibration is gone. But in drive it's always present.
