I take on tracing down all the loose grounds, create a ground strap for the cab and see if I can get the dash to fire up. Big events at the Redneck Garage with my sweet shetland sheepdog Shelby having six beautiful puppies :)

I made battery cables for my Jeep using the military terminals. I bought a hydraulic crimper to do the lugs and I also soldered them and covered with heat shrink. They should last a long time, hopefully haha

+CharterVlogs Mine don't have to be crimped - where did you get yours ?

Did you ever get a reply to this? I’m having the exact same issue with a small beep in my cluster and the lights come on in the dash for a split second.

Is a 97 2.5L the same as a 01 2.5L when it comes to the 01 wiring harness plugging in and the Jeep running?

An interesting technique for terminating a heavy gauge wire. Did you reheat the terminal after you inserted the cable the make sure the solder wicked into the cable? If not, I would worry that might result in a cold solder connection that has a high probability of failing. For whatever it's worth.....probably not much....

+Mike Hartmann Hey Mike ! no I never reheat them - I've done hundreds this way and never had a problem tho. Now you probably jinxed me ..... hahahaha The solder is so hot like molten lava if you have that much amount I'm thinking it will be fine :)

Can you tell me what tester you're using to see if you're grounds are working? Small suggestion: Although it can create a conflict of interested, one way you could make some money might be to include links to the products you use or mention in your videos and operate under an affiliate model. I'd love to click the link and buy the product. I'm in the process of replacing grounds on a 1980 CJ7 and I'm pretty new to it. This content is great! I'd buy a torch, tester and connections today!

Love your channel helps jeep owners out. I have a question my ECM/PCM is losing power I'm hoping it's the pins/terminals on the main harness. I want to replace them but I can't find out what type of pin/terminals I need. Would you know what is the part number? Thank you

I've got a 1999 jeep wrangler 4.0 with an intermitten alternator problem. It starts good but the voltage drops and comes back on. Any ideas?
