Nice little fuck-around video! My brother owns a yj, dumped a shit ton of money into it, it could easily crawl just about any thing you throw in its way. He wont take it on any thing other than gravel roads and a little bit of mud. I have a 94 runner, 2'' OME lift and 3" body lift, locked in the rear, sitting on 32's. I still havent found any thing i cant take it up, within reason of course. Personally i prefer a toyota over a jeep, but honestly, a rig is a rig. Its all in how its built and the experience!

both are great off-road vehicles. I've owned 3 yotas and a jeep. Tires are the most critical factor on this one. Those thornbirds, aside from decent side lugs and looking cool, are worthless offroad imo. Especially near bald ones. I noticed the jeep didn't try the hole that the 4 runner bottomed out in.

I always had jeeps and never thought anything could replace them. Just bought a 2015 4Runner SR5 and very happy with it . I still think the Wrangler is the best out of any 4x4 out there but I also think that the 4Runner will give it a good run ( talking about stock ) . In this video the Jeep driver has much more experience this is why he's able to get out of a jam.

I know own a 3.4 crew cab TRD 4X4 and that thing is nearly unstoppable in sugar sand and mud!! Tires and the person behind the wheel, clearly this Yota has none of the above. Do us off-roading enthusiast a favor and help this kid learn how to offroad!!

And my other buddy has to take his daily driver 03 ram 1500 with 245x70r17 A/T and drive through their ruts and pull that pile out.
