Plus mr. 4runner doesnt know what does "bump it" mean and momentum! Dont just frickin stop in the middle! I also think he might have his sway bar connected too cuz the jeep looked like it had way better travel.

Nice little fuck-around video! My brother owns a yj, dumped a shit ton of money into it, it could easily crawl just about any thing you throw in its way. He wont take it on any thing other than gravel roads and a little bit of mud. I have a 94 runner, 2'' OME lift and 3" body lift, locked in the rear, sitting on 32's. I still havent found any thing i cant take it up, within reason of course. Personally i prefer a toyota over a jeep, but honestly, a rig is a rig. Its all in how its built and the experience!

both are great off-road vehicles. I've owned 3 yotas and a jeep. Tires are the most critical factor on this one. Those thornbirds, aside from decent side lugs and looking cool, are worthless offroad imo. Especially near bald ones. I noticed the jeep didn't try the hole that the 4 runner bottomed out in.

I always had jeeps and never thought anything could replace them. Just bought a 2015 4Runner SR5 and very happy with it . I still think the Wrangler is the best out of any 4x4 out there but I also think that the 4Runner will give it a good run ( talking about stock ) . In this video the Jeep driver has much more experience this is why he's able to get out of a jam.

I like the jeep and I like the Toyota. haven't owned either long enough to tell which is best. theres usually different things on different cars, none are the same. its all about fun, and imo making it home with the least damage as possible. I would like to take my 4 runner for a spin and challenge some others jeeps and yotas to go on a mud run and see who makes it out with least damage. guy who succeeds with most minor damage wins.

I owned a 4.3 liter wrangler and a 89 Toyota and the only difference was the horsepower. Both a great vehicles but this kid could get a hummer stuck in grass. I know own a 3.4 crew cab TRD 4X4 and that thing is nearly unstoppable in sugar sand and mud!! Tires and the person behind the wheel, clearly this Yota has none of the above. Do us off-roading enthusiast a favor and help this kid learn how to offroad!!

Funny since many jeeps come with trutrack. So ur claim of it being modified is bull. Maybe the jeep guy should complain that the Toyota had bigger tires? Funny u mention it but I have a buddy who runs a 4 runner with 32's and gets stuck all the time. And my other buddy has to take his daily driver 03 ram 1500 with 245x70r17 A/T and drive through their ruts and pull that pile out. Point is if u wanna like toyota that's your mistake but don't hate on a KZfaq video just because it got beat. It all comes down to condition tires weight and the driver... Jeep was better in this video get over it.

Seth Echternacht yeah those tires sucked. The dude needs to learn how to turn the tires more often for traction also. Killer Toyo though!

No real reason to hit the Gas as you are going through this. ! I have a BAD BACK I ease off road some times just a bit. Some Enjoy hearing their engines bounce off the Rev Limiter & Some like me enjoy just crawling & being out of the House !

I have noticed based on the comments here Toyota people can't take a joke and take there Toyotas way to serious. the jeep could have been all stock with 3 tires and the Toyota guys would still be saying it wasn't fair

+That Yj Guy "there" implies direction. "Their" implies possession. Best figure your grammar before you render your love for all things "American" on the internet immortal. Or, as a Subaru driver, one could easily debunk the Jeep "legend" by citing its less than stellar repair history on consumer reports.com. Or you Jeep guys could keep on enjoying your crappy cars. One way or another.
