Great vid. 2007 jeep grand cherokee My drain hoses we clogged. Causing water to back up into over head interior. I wouldn't have known there was drain hoses with out your vid.

thanks for this video while I knew about the drains I assumed the water was coming from the open sunroof which would not close properly....located drains... cleaned out.... cut bigger drain hole.... and put everything back

Thanks for this, I used your common sense video to get my bearings on our 2014 Summit that is leaking. One thing also that I noticed on ours was the drivers side INSECT SCREEN had slid off of the metal rod on the end (down at the bottom where it bends down to recess when the glass slides shut.) The loose flapping screen at bottom on the end was clogging up the drain......Pain in the butt to slide the sleeve back onto the anchoring rod but that took care of one source of blockage.

The metal hole in my jeep where the water from drain you pointed out leaves vehicle was full of sand and dirt. Hopefully I'm good now. Still gonna park in garage for now though. Thanks!

Some models have two lines in the front and two in the back. One to each corner. Air is the best way to clean them from the top for you who don't know.

I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee summit took the garments out not too much water coming out ....got the sunroof hole blowed out it's still leaking on my passenger side. do you know where I can take it to get it looked at besides the dealership.

IF the hose is not reaching the drain grommet, that does not explain the leaking on the windshield area you mentioned ? Maybe it is 2 problems?

The cap you cut is meant to go over the tube so the end means nothing since the opening rest around the tube. It is to seal it in place.
