I replaced the plastic bumper on my Mojave with a metal Rubicon bumper. I love it. Swapping out the orange bumper hooks on the Mojave for the red ones on the metal bumper was a real pain until I figured out how to get those thin clip/nuts off. I also had to trim up the metal skit plate which comes on the Mojave. I think the bumper swap made a huge improvement on the looks of my JT. Don’t be scared off by the price. I think you’ll be happy with one.

I like the look of the Rubicon bumper as well as being able to install a winch. I would hope I could find a much better price from someone replacing their Rubicon bumper with an aftermarket bumper.

🌟Big Tip:🌟 remove your grill, then remove that plastic piece you drill out. MUCH better access to the inside bumper bolts. The driver side still SUCKS but it's a little easier.

You still.have to buy a winch plate for a winch to mount on that bumper.

11:04 - what’s the torque value for those nuts? The ones that secure the bumper to the frame.

Mine did not come with the wiring harness. Just the pig tails and a connector from each fog light. Can you please tell me the wiring harness number.

I'm not usually one to bitch about pricing but the $1055 asking price is absolutely ridiculous, especially considering it doesn't come with a winch mount or skid plate. I like this piece, but will gladly get any one of the bazillion other options that are half that cost (and include a winch mount).

If my plastic bumper comes with halogen and my new steel has the led fog lights am I able to just plug the wires from the halogen to my led fogs with no problem?

The weight of this bumper fully shipped is about 30lbs. The factory plastic front bumper is about the same because of the tow hooks and inner steel frame. You wouldn't be adding much weight at all when switching to this front bumper!

Thanks a million for your support, indeed, I fixed the steel rubicon front bumper, I measured the height of the car with the plastic bumper the with the steel bumper, I lost only 2mm of clearance which is negligible according to my limited knowledge.

These are a 33" tire on a stock non lifted JL.

Of course. Depending on your flat tow solution you may need to cut the bumper though.

I just added to my jeep yesterday steel bumper and winch and suspension has went down in the front It’s a Rubicon front bumper.

Aftermarket front bumpers (and winches) of any kind will likely do that, regardless of installing one on a Rubicon, Sahara, or Sport. You're adding extra weight to the front of your Jeep. That being said it, its not hurting anything. Most people choose to install a 3/4" spacer after to keep the front of their Jeep level. -Zach

Rubicons did not come standard with metal bumpers or Leds. These are both separate packages to buy. Metal bumper package is around $2000 extra and led lighting is close to $1500 extra.

I purchased my 2022 Rubicon with the led package but not the metal bumper. I upgraded only the front metal bumper after purchase. I personally don't see the need for the metal rear bumper. Saved a few dollars doing it this way

@@justinkrzynowek9166 I wound up putting LED’s in every single receptacle. Bumpers, winch, tires, wheels, kings, entire front end (steer smarts) exhaust etc. Looks and performs great. Just cost a fortune to do it

He does state it comes with LED fog lights but the site listed states the bumper does not come with lights or hooks. Disappointing, either way since it’s conflicted information which leads to mistrust.
