The lights into the slot on the JL is a shoutout to the CJ, the taper in the vertical surface of the grill is a shoutout to the YJ, the lights in the fender are a shoutout to the TJ, and the bumper design a shoutout to the JK.

So you know, the rail down the side of each Jeep just above the doors is a rain rail, to divert rain away from the doors. The JL pushes the rain further back down the vehicle, where the JK is more likely to drop on the rear seat passenger when entering or exiting the vehicle. It has nothing to do with air dynamics.

I was today years old to find out those rails was to divert rain water away. I honestly thought it was some type of air dam. Now that I looked at it again and you mention what it was for now it makes more sense now

Seems like half of this video was talking about fuel savings might be worth mentioning that the JL is 200 pounds lighter has a heavier transmission and is all aluminum seriously that’s a huge difference. They went from steel to a full aluminum body on top of a steel frame. Pros and cons to that good luck getting a body shop to do a good job working dents out on aluminum. It’s still oxidizes and you can’t put magnets on it. Ask me how I know lol anyways either way if you’re looking at a jeep, you should get one unless you’re worried about gas cost then you should not, Can’t go wrong with a jeep…. Until things go very wrong.

The JL is vastly superior to the JK in so many ways. The time to remove the freedom panels, and storage is just another example. The JK Rubicon vs the JL Sport, off road, the JK is the winner with locking diff's.
