I bought my own wrangler rubicon for abt $36,000 dollars (equivalent 1.8m pesos) imagine 5.2 m for a Sahara..

There's no choice, if made by non-ASEAN factory, you have to tack on a 40 percent tariff. These vehicles are rare status symbols in the PH due to that. No one buying at that price is looking for value.

Another factor is the Excise Tax here in PH that is 4% (for automobiles up to P600,000) 10% (for automobiles above P600,000 to 1 million) 20% (for automobiles above P1 million to 4 million) 50% (for automobiles above P4 million)

@carviewph Excellent point, though is that part of the 5 million price that was mentioned, or is that something that's added later? She mentioned the RAM is 4.9 Mil, but 5.7 Mil after tax.
