In this video we will talk about the making of the Jeepers Creepers trucks, which trucks were made first, and how they were used. There is a lot of misinformation out about the Creepers truck, and we will try to correct that and get the actual information out to the fans. There are some pictures in this video that have never been seen and facts that should bring all the pieces together. This video is a compiling of information about each truck, and that trucks purpose based on the best comprehensive information available, collected over the last fifteen years. Enjoy!

@@The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truck That “team” didn’t care. Jake Seal and Michael Ohoven saw a free IP and just wanted to cash grab. Hopefully one day we’ll get a good team that cares about the franchise and get a somewhat proper follow up to JC2. I know it likely wont be what we all truly wanted but hoping for something at least good enough/passable.

@@skullfullabongripz I don’t think it turned out to be much of a cash grab. Almost a debt grab. I’m sure we will see some better movies in the future. The monster/idea is too good not to explore further.

Very very interesting video. Question, if they scrapped the trucks in part 1, and you had one, how come yours wasn't used in part 2 so they wouldn't have to write it out? Was it not ready yet?

Correct. They went back to the first wrecking yard where truck 1 was purchased. Instead of cutting them up the guys sold two of them dirt cheap to a local for yard art. In 2008 we purchased truck 1 for restoration. They were around in 2003 but the Jeepers company didn’t know they existed. 👍

damn, I got confused, it turns out that the third truck disappeared, and all the time I thought that you had truck number three, although it is one in one, and the engine is strong) I thought truck number one disappeared, it had slightly different arches, and the second truck as far as I know, someone bought it for restoration, very interesting ) maybe I missed something somewhere )

You got it now. It’s hard to know how the trucks were used during the first move. That’s one of the main reasons we want to document things moving forward so we all, always have that history.

@@The_Jeepers_Creepers_Truck thank you for the informative content))) but as for the third part, damn the sound engineers.... why did they make a creeper truck with sound for inline six-cylinder engines, they would at least add, as in the first part, a monstrous v8 voice) I would rate the movie precisely because of the truck, the truck is good) but I thought they were using a regular truck, without a v8 engine, where the scene is with a pickup truck, an SUV and a truck) thank you, now I understand thanks to you which trucks were used👍👍👍I am very passionate about this whole creepers theme)

They tried to make it sound like a diesel. They failed and even if they had succeeded they would have failed. Nothing like a mean, throaty gas engine for an old monster like this-

Interesting.. none of the trucks had horns. It was added in post as a sound effect. We are working on a physical, mechanical horn but getting the right sound is very hard. It is not a priority currently. We might bring the audience along when we work on it.

We aren’t sure. Not this one. It is more of a west coast truck. Possibly Troy with his JC1 screen used truck or Keven with his tribute truck.

When it comes to the tires, how did they make them look so aged? Was it just paint or did they take the truck mudding?

We used paint and in hindsight it probably contributed to actual early aging of the rubber. If done again we would use canal paints and dirt and other distressing materials.

Truck had a 383 crate motor turbocharged..I live not too far from the old church it's not there anymore and the old restaurant I believe that's it's vacant now..I wish I would have went over there just to check out Gina Phillips she's smoking HOT that made the first Jeepers Creepers so much better.. After that they started to go downhill and by the 3rd Movie most people lost interest in it..Great Video..👍

@@melbourne-heat.69-71 Actually during filming of Jeepers 1 it had a clapped out Chevy 350 no supercharger. But now it has a 383 and rolls quickly. Soon it may get some boost.
