Sage advice as always FDV! Sadly, you know as well as I do that Jeannie is not going to be able to reason with Jeezy over dinner and conversation. The opportunity for that died when Jeezy sprung the divorce on her out of the blue. The man lacks the emotional bandwidth and maturity be a good husband and father which is sadly typical amongst most black men. It's a shame that Jeannie failed to see the red flags from the start, she could've saved herself from this.💔

1.Why doesn't he focus on his OTHER children? 2. Her whole claim in the State of California is that he whirlwinded her into compromising the PreNup arrangements. For this reason, all of his assets were not disclosed, which should be considered in the child support/custody arrangements; 3.Jeannie comes from an Asian undivided family. He's trying to use her & the baby as a come up. That might work in Mississippi, but he'll lose in California.

That's sad. Really think twice before having a baby with someone (men and women) because if things go wrong the child will always be an unfortunate collateral damage...now despite the fact I can understand he might fight back because he hasn't seen his daughter but the reason mentioned 'not being around'come on you have to come with something else. What can people expect from a single mom? Stay at home no matter what and just pray God for the money to come down just like that for the bills ?? As long as she still has some time for her daughter and thank God people she trust around to support her and treat the child well, why pointing this out as some kind of bad behaviour.

In most families, whether she's working or a SAM Mom, mothers are the primary caregivers when the child is young. While I believe both parents should have an active role, there's a cruelty to seeking primary, or even sole custody, unless the mother is a danger to the child. My own cousin is going through that right now, and my heart breaks for her. A judge, overriding the court-appointed child advocate's determination, decided her daughter should spend the next year with her father, whom has chose to be absent from her life (she's six), and then the following year with her mother, even though she's been the primary caregiver. Why? Because she's in the military, and we live a few hours away. Not that we can't get to them in an emergency, but because she's a single parent. Mind you, the same was true for the father, until he quickly got married a few months ago. The extended family my baby cousin will be surrounded by will be her stepmother's in Oklahoma, including two older stepbrothers, while all her relatives (on both sides) are here on the East Coast. I just don't understand how it's ever in the best interest of the child to create a destabilizing environment for them. And, it sounds like that's exactly what Jeezy is proposing. Too bad they couldn't come to an amicable agreement amongst themselves.

You are very much on point. When love has too much expectation, divorce becomes a personal vendetta. In situation like this one of the couple always wants to cut off the other totally from connecting to the kid or kids as the case may be. This reminds me of Angeline Jolie and Brad Pitt, a couple I love so much and wish they would be at peace with each other for the sake of the children, You only see the Kids with Angelina and never with Brad. So sad.

I absolutely love your energy and grace! EVERYTHING you said is 100% accurate. Whatever they are going through between them, has nothing to do with Monaco. They should focus on what's best for Monaco. Monaco needs both parents equally. I wish the bitter parent would understand this. The only person you end up hurting is the child; not the person you THINK you are hurting.

Agreed, just because his childhood wasn’t the best, doesn’t their daughter has to suffered. Jaezzy wanted this divorce and was upset that Jeannie stop paying attention to his shenanigans and focus on herself and their daughter. He’s mad that the attention is not on him. Honestly I never ever heard about him til he got involved with Jeannie.
