We exist. I’m in the US.... I have been a fan since I was a little kid. Saw “Grace” on MTV and was hooked. I live not too far from where he died and often think about him when I walk along the river. Wish he was here.

@@AI_Catbot Same here. I’ve been around since I heard Last Goodbye on US radio, then saw So Real on MTV and bought Grace, and I was hooked. I am no youngster. I remember watching vh1 when they announced he was missing. Ugh. Then he was found. Devastated. Then remember buying Sketches as soon as it came out. The older I get the more I am impacted by his loss. The greatest loss to music, imo. Besides Chris Cornell nobody has touched him vocally in the rock genre.

"La Música es eterna y aunque he escuchado muchísima música de lugares muy distintos y me he enamorado innumerables veces de todo tipo de música, todavía hay algo...Supongo q se llama "Libertad". La música me cautivó a una edad muy temprana, todo lo q tenía q ver con ella. Fue my madre, mi padre, mi juguete, era lo mejor de mi vida. Cuando era un niño había la era acústica mágica "post-Dylan", Cosby Stills & Nash, Joni Mitchell, muchísima Joni, sabes. No solo escuchaba cosas, también adoraba total y absolutamente a todo el mundo q tuviera algo q ver con el asunto, en la portada del disco. Cuando tenía unos 5 años descubrí que mi abuela tenía una guitarra acústica, una "Noname", que creo que compró con la esperanza de que alguno de sus hijos empezase a tocarla, pero estuvo ahí parada hasta que se hicieron adultos y entonces la encontré yo. Me ponía de pié en ella, pero sobre todo ponía mis canicas encima. "Aleluya" es una canción de Leonard Cohen. Yo hago la versión que tiene las otras estrofas que Leonard no grabó en "Various Positions". Se la oí a John Cale que hizo una versión en "I am your fan"; esa era mi favorita. Me la aprendí una noche antes de un bolo (bolo= concierto "pequeño") en Sin-è. Alguien sugirió que debería estar en el álbum, que debería estar en algún sitio y yo dije que vale". Ese es mi intento de traducción. Alguien q haga las siguientes partes, please.

Any native speaker of English could answer me please? When he says (if he says that...I'm not sure) "I'd stand on it/him, but mostly I'd just put my marbles on it/him"? Does he mean literally? He actually stood on it and put his physical marbles (little glass balls) on it? I read a translation somewhere that read something like "I was firm on it and made it sound my own way"...But to me, that translation is wrong.. And I am inclined to think that "put my marbles in it" means just that, he put his toys on it .Please, help! Thanks!!

You should seriously think about learning English. It's liberating and so worth it, trust me. Probably the only subject in school I was interested in because it's one of the only things you can make use of it on a daily basis. Learning this one language is the gateway to the world.
