Check out Van Morrison, he wrote the song back in 1968, on an album called Astral Weeks...If you like Jeff's version, you'll love the writer's version...Van the Man is an incredible writer...And Jeff is just right along the jazzy meaning to the song...Good Luck and Enjoyment!!

Sofia Noiti To me 10:43 to 10: 48 or so...It spooks me....It doesn't even sound like a voice. It reminds me of that weird instrument, the saw. The word "amazing" doesn't even begin to describe what he does in those three first seconds of the part I point out. WOW!!!
@sofianoiti7 жыл бұрын
Jeff's spiral electrifying voice vibration through his body! Unique voice!
@MaTeTris7 жыл бұрын
Sofia Noiti Indeed and also because it comes from a unique soul! In fact, I think that that is what makes him so amazing. There are excellent voices all over the world, but his has a soul in it that very few have.
@sofianoiti7 жыл бұрын
his soul was like he had "many souls" inside her... strange but true and powerful. He grabs you from the first minute. Also, his guitar is flying.. see 1:57 and 9:11 voice and guitar... flowing....

Oh yeah! He's improvising with the guitar as well. He was a genius; no doubt about it.

Thank you for this upload. I knew the "Mainstream" Jeff Buckley songs in the 90's but did not truly understand yet, as I had not experienced enough of life yet. Within the past year, I have listened to every Jeff Buckley song, interview, documentary I can find on the internet. I have read articles, looked for "truthful" books. Mr. Buckley was a true musician, as it seemed soul, melody, and lyrics were his DNA. I very much appreciate this video as well as the other footage you have on this page. Thank you does not do justice...
