Ok! Tig! I have a movie for you-dark, deep, too emotional. Dear Zachary. 😢 it’s amazing. Funny story, the first year I was dating my now wife, I wanted to impress her friends and cooked a big Indian feast for New Year’s Eve. Everyone got too tipsy and we had a cozy New Year’s Day together in snowy Minnesota. We decide to watch a movie and eat with our hang overs and so I suggested this. I immediately hangover pass out. I woke up and literally everyone was crying and mad at me for suggesting this movie. It’s so good!

THE most devastating thing I’ve watched was an autobiographical documentary called Silverlake Life: The View From Here. It’s a film by a man with AIDs documenting caring for a partner who was also terminally ill with AIDs. Absolutely gut wrenching, raw, and real and an incredible insight in to the reality of the AIDs crisis. Not for the faint of heart, big content warnings but an amazing insightful film.

Dear, Tig, Fortune, and Mae - Handsome. I just heard your podcast with Jeff Probst last night, and I wanted to tell you how inspired I was by your words. I enjoyed the entire podcast. What’s better than three hilarious comedians chatting? Nothing. I love listening to the three of you having a great time. This episode, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qdmeoLGX2K-7iGw.htmlfeature=shared&t=3085, hit home in a big way. When Tig started by saying, “There is nothing better to me than, and I probably say this on here, but I say this all the time, when people love their job.” Then the three of you started talking about it and Fortune said that it is such a big part of your life. You are right, it is a huge part of your life, and having that feeling of loving what you do and the freedom that goes with it is AWESOME!! I love what I do. I am happy in my relationship, and I am happy in my job. (Tig, I just thought you’d like to know. 😀) "It is a massive chunk of your life.” I love that it makes Tig so happy to hear when people say that. Tig, you said you don’t know why it makes you so happy, and neither do I, but I think it’s because you are such a good person and you can identify with other people's happiness. I think it is quite empathetic and so incredible. I love that you love others' happiness. I also love how you keep it real. When Fortune starts talking about why she never got too bummed at the beginning of her career, when she was working so hard and no traction was happening, she said, “Well, at least I know what I want to do.” Exactly!! It’s taken me ages to figure that out. Tig says, “And seriously, no traction was happening.” I am right there!! BUT I know what I want to do now. "Half the battle is knowing what to work towards." You are so right, Fortune Feimster. We were living in San Jose, California, but moved to Spain. We both quit our jobs and are starting a business called Three Gloves. James is the web designer, and I am the front-end developer. I learned to code, and I LOVE IT!!! Who knew? James kept telling me that he thought I would love to code because I have the mind for it, but while living in California and working at Trader Joe’s, I didn’t have the time to study. Once we moved to Spain, I was working part-time teaching English. So, I had the time, and I saw an ad for a free 60-minute coding course and I took it. After that, I was hooked. I signed up for all the courses I needed to become a front-end developer. It’s been a long life and a long journey so far, but I am finally getting to the point in my life where I know what I want and what I do not want. I want to be happy working with my husband creating beautiful and affordable websites for individuals and small businesses. It’s awesome. Sure, we have only had a few paying clients so far, but we are just starting our business. We are excited and ready to put in the hard work. So, I wanted to thank you all at the Handsome Podcast for your awesome and inspiring chat about being happy. It made me very happy!!! If it is okay with you, I would like to share it on my social media and LinkedIn because I think it will be helpful for others to hear it. Thank you, thank you, and thanks again for chatting with friends on the Handsome Pod!! Cheers!! Sincerely, Celia Corona-Doran www.threegloves.com/

The pay is significantly less and no opportunity for overtime, but it works great for my family's schedule. Also, my mental and physical health is greatly improved. Not all of us can have our dream job, BUT some of us use our job as the means TO happiness. I'm happy with the things outside of my job that my job enables. I have security and that was more of a need when it came along (I had to have open heart surgery and needed good insurance, etc). I have great benefits that are going to enable me to retire in five years and THEN I can do what I want. Yippee!! We all have different paths... And I listen to this podcast while I work from the comfort of home.🥰 That way I can laugh out loud without scaring my co-workers!

I hate to be this person but the 2 against 1 thing keeps happening because it is way more probable than all 3 agreeing. For example between Tig (T), Mae (M), and Fortune (F), if there are 2 choices: there's 6 ways it could be 2 against 1. TM, TF, MF either for choice A or B. So probability is 6. But for all 3 agreeing, the probability is 2. Sorry. I had to get this out.

I'm 32 and I was super into Yu-Gi-Oh! as a kid. I didn't know kids these days still knew about it! It seemed to fall out of popularity over the years. I guess it's had a resurgence? It was huge when I was in elementary school. Among nerds, at least. I watched the show on the WB when it was on, collected cards and played battles, and also watched the original Japanese show with subtitles (it's much darker than the version that aired in the US). I only ever reallt played the card game with my sibling and our friends, though, because when we tried to go to a card tournament at a bookstore, the adult men were really nasty and dismissive to any girls who wanted to play. So the community definitely wasn't for us, but we loved the show. We made fan art and bought pins at anime conventions and stuff. My older sibling and their spouse are both still really into Yu-Gi-Oh! and still cosplay to this day, but I stopped being interested in it during my teen years. It's still very nostalgic for me, though. It was a huge part of my life for so long!

lol tipping is easy. Take the total, move the decimal point over one place. That’s 10%, double for 20%. So 22.00, 10% is 2.20. Doubled is 4.40. So if you have a bill something like 178.38, 10% is 17.83. 20% is 35.66.

This is something actors talk about. If you watch any of those THR drama actresses roundtables, Nicole Kidman talks about it. How her body took a minute to recover after filming some intense scenes during Big Little Lies. I think Sarah Paulson has also talked about similar stuff in another one of those roundtables. Yeah, I watched a bunch of them.
