They tried to keep butts in seats while building a contender post the ECF run when they added DJ. Found out that both Trae and DJ are better suited as primary handlers as opposed to working off ball with each other and are now correcting by adding more defense and shooting around Trae (hopefully more rebounding too) idk what else y'all expect especially when we aren't able to grab stars during free agency most years.

PG was in LA with the Clippers for damn near 5 years and they didn’t get it done. It’s past time got to move on. And honestly, the clippers are about ready to hit the reset button again as well. He has a much better chance of winning with Embiid and Maxey as well right now. The 76ers are Top 4 in the East and when healthy are damn near one of the best in the league. This was a great move for him. They’ll push Boston more than many will like to believe

He can't guard wings, Daniels can and is a monster on defense. Murray is solid against other PGs and can get steals, but that's about it. He was out of position in ATL.

Jalen Johnson is an uber athletic forward who can catch lobs and dribble good enough to bring the ball down to court, while providing good help defense and a little bit of rim protection. Zach Risacher is a sharpshooting forward, who is really good without the ball in his hands, and knows how to get open. Whether he is cutting to the basket, or getting open from three. He also provides really good help defense as well, mostly off of deflections and steals. While Jalen and Zach both have similar height, they are completely different players who complement each other and Trae Young very well.

Trae is a good player But just too small , can’t defend , can’t really score without high volume But you have to pay him , so it’s tough

I think people are overlooking what Hawks doing with Trae now. They’re using big defenders all around Trae to cover up his defensive liability. Trae offense is so high that you can put defenders around him who’s offense as potent. DJM defense wasn’t as good as we had hoped for. DJM is more of a true guard than 2 way combo guard

Good luck with all that. How about you get a PG thats not a whiny ass **ssy and plays defense and actually inspires everyone else to commit to the little things. Oh we had that, DJ brought the team UP about 10 notches on defense while IsoTrae was out. Go watch tape, our PFA numbers went down by like 10 during that month. Comparatively, look at the team effort in that Chicago play in game that ISOtrae had NO business playing....no energy, no spirit, no intensity....IsoTrae DESTROYS TEAM ENERGY, you can see it if you have eyes to see. IsoTrae shouda recused himself from that game, but he put himself over the team(see the pattern?)and stunk it up. Coby White looked like an allstar lol. DJ deserved a chance to run through a season as the leader but now we can only hope they move IsoTrae but nobody wants that energy on their squad so here we go again.
