Teague is right. Kobe made the game harder on himself for no reason. His game wasn’t very efficient. It’s funny he’s considered the closest thing to MJ when MJ was the opposite. Kobe approached the game of basketball, the way Bruce lee approached Martial arts. He perfected every aspect of his game. Everything was textbook, perfection if you will. He’d shoot the same fadaway from the same spot for hours, just like Bruce Lee would repeatedly do the same kicks for hours making sure he kicked the bag in the same exact spot each time. Michael Jackson was the same way with his Dance moves. This is why their techniques was better than everyone else’s in their respective fields.

I understand what Teague is saying about Kobe although I disagree cause I look @ Jordan , Kobe , T-Mac , PG13 , KD , Dirk etc. all as players with Fluency. Not even on some hating BS but how Teague feels about watching Kobe ??..is literally the exact how I feel about watching LBJ. Everything is Power and Speed with no Fluency. He right. Besides his fadeaway which came later and was Mikes move, nothing about Kobe look natural or effortless. You’ll only being able to understand if you really play ball. It’s a reason why niggas was so fascinated by Iverson in the early 2000s despite him never winning a title and the lakers cleaning all the chips, it’s because his movement was effortless and graceful on the court. Everyone wanted to imitate it. The dude made a career off of looking good playing basketball. Kobe won a lot but he didn’t possess that natural aura that just gravitated ppl towards him.
