Teague is right. Kobe made the game harder on himself for no reason. His game wasn’t very efficient. It’s funny he’s considered the closest thing to MJ when MJ was the opposite. Kobe approached the game of basketball, the way Bruce lee approached Martial arts. He perfected every aspect of his game. Everything was textbook, perfection if you will. He’d shoot the same fadaway from the same spot for hours, just like Bruce Lee would repeatedly do the same kicks for hours making sure he kicked the bag in the same exact spot each time. Michael Jackson was the same way with his Dance moves. This is why their techniques was better than everyone else’s in their respective fields.

Compared to other elite scorers in their prime I understand what he’s saying. As gifted as Kobe was he took way too many difficult shots for a player/athlete of his caliber. A lot of his buckets looked like a struggle even with all his skills. I kinda feel the same way about Tatum.
