Louis usually gets outplayed because his emotions get in the way. That's different than letting yourself be vulnerable with a 'friend' and them betraying you. Of ocurse, louis was missing the context that jeff and jess were already dating, but he wasn't wrong for this reaction.

I honestly felt really bad for Louis during that last scene because you could tell how hard he was trying to just make a friend by making himself vulnerable for the first time, only to be stabbed in the back (his view on the situation). Makes you sympathize with how desperate he is to feel loved and respected by his peers like Harvey.

Sad to say if louis wasnt such an easy target people wouldnt have such a field day using him. I mean sure he is a badass lawyer but a very weak person and in a world of sharks and wolves, that will undoubtedly get taken advantage of. His lack of emotional maturity and control has always been his undoing. If he grew up some he wouldnt get abused so much. He literally makes it too easy to prey upon him. He practically puts out a neon sign saying "MANIPULATE ME" to all the self-serving aholes in his world.
