About the album:
Surrealistic Pillow is American rock band Jefferson Airplane's second album. It is the first album by the band with vocalist Grace Slick and drummer Spencer Dryden. Certified Gold by the RIAA, Surrealistic Pillow peaked at number three on the Billboard album chart.
Lyrics:
One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you, don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice, when she's ten feet tall
And if you go chasing rabbits, and you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah-smoking caterpillar has given you the call
And call Alice, when she was just small

At the opposite end of the spectrum there are songs that are "criminally" too long. Examples: "Hey Jude" (Beatles), "Isn't She Lovely" (Stevey Wonder) and "I'm Your Captain" (Grand Funk Railroad). In fact, "I'm Your Captain" seems longer than a 150-car BNSF double stack train moving at 20 mph.

Jefferson Airplane had breakout songs. This does not have multiple stanzas with the repetitive chorus. Amazing this was on the airwaves for that time!

I remember first hearing this song, or at least be aware of the song, thanks to Bray Wyatt’s White Rabbit campaign and how it built up his return. I remember I was obsessed with the song at the time and thought how awesome the build was with the lyrics of this song playing in each episode of Raw or Smackdown during the ad break. It was very unique stuff and once that return happened, I can’t help but be emotional. Just want to say thank you Bray Wyatt and RIP. We truly lost a creative visionary in wrestling.

An absolutely beautiful song that I’m glad to see getting even more recognition thanks to WWE using an acapella version at their events recently.

@@illjah19 I mean the reason people are recently showing up to these vids of white rabbit is because of WWE. You can simply just look up in the algorithm and it is full of WWE vids or the literal comments under the vids lmao.

I'd say it's more of an instruments removed version, but as it is just the vocal track from this song I suppose technically it is a capella
